Maine Coon kittens & cats in Independence, Missouri

Rizzo (mom) and Gonzo (daughter) are a bonded pair. Gonzo loves her mama so much and always wants to snuggle with her. They enjoy playing and wrestling together. Gonzo has lots of energy and runs around like a daredevil. Rizzo is a little more relaxed, but still gets silly when they play. Rizzo is a Maine Coon mix with beautiful long hair, while Gonzo is a short hair brown tabby with dark markings. They’re both a little bit shy at first, and need a family who understands that they need time to adjust and settle into their new home. Rizzo isn’t a huge fan of small children, and gets a little defensive of her baby when they’re around.  These kitties should get along with cat-savvy kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Rizzo and Gonzo are available to visit at Kitty City on Saturdays and by appointment on Sundays. Rizzo was born approximately October 15, 2022, and August 12, 2025, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $232.50. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Hes a really clingy cat, and very attached. It will take it him some time to open up to him. I will be moving away so I can no longer give him the proper home longer. Very unexpected move, so I will hope if anyone gim a proper home. His name is dumpling, and about 4 years old.

Tiggy is a playful cat.She enjoys her toys,treats and fishing pole cat toy with catnip.Tiggys favorite toy is the cat tunnel.She loves running thru it as it rolls around. Tiggy is a little shy and needs a home willing to give her time to adjust .

We adopted Jimothy a few years ago. He is a lap cat, and very comfortable on your lap in winter. When we adopted him he was 28 lbs. Unfortunately the steps to the basement are becoming a challenge for my wife and I, and that is the only place we have for his litter box. He is a very cuddly fellow.

Sushi is almost three years old. She was found and taken in by a friend then passed on to us. She has a few health issues. She has a loud nasal breathing. Thr vet said it could be something to do with her nasal passage and not indicator of her lungs. Her middle toe claws are fused together. The suggestion is she may be inbred. She is a very quiet, tiny and cuddly cat.
