Story
Tank is a 5-year-old male cat and a lazy, lovable fat boy. He loves to snuggle up on his mom's chest, purring and trilling contentedly. Unlike some cats, Tank doesn't hide from company or kids; he's always happy to be around people. Tank likes the finer things in life and doesn't tolerate low quality cat food or chicken as it can upset his stomach. Though he has a sensitive stomach, his gentle and cuddly nature makes him an absolute joy to have around.

Story
If you'd like to meet Birdie, we ask that you visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements, and to schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available should that be more convenient. (Please read Birdie's full profile before coming to meet her.) www.ggohinc.com Birdie has a bit of a complicated story - well maybe not complicated, but one that you need to be aware of before proceeding with any inquiry. Birdie had a home - she had been adopted. (Her history prior to adoption is unknown by us as the rescue organization who initially had her is no longer in operation.) Birdie snuck out of the house, was trapped, and brought back to her adopter. While she was roaming about, her adopter had gone out and gotten another kitten. Birdie escaped again, then trapped again, but this time the adopter did not want her back. We can make some assumptions here but that isn't always the best thing to do so instead, we are just going to state what facts we know, look for the best home for her, and be up-front with any potential adopter about some "possibilities". It's possible that Birdie did not like her new home - could be any number of reasons for that. It's possible Birdie did not like her new owner. It's possible Birdie wasn't a fan of the new kitten. It's possible Birdie didn't really sneak out. It's possible Birdie likes being outside (and if so, there are ways to allow her to do that safely). Birdie's Maine Coon breed will surely generate a lot of attention for her but we are going to be very cautious and advocate for the best possible home for her so that all those possibilities are less likely to become realities. We want to ensure that Birdie goes to a home where she will feel safe, loved, and cared for in all the right ways. So please, take all of Birdie's story into account before inquiring about her. We are Birdie's interim caretakers and we are going to see to it that this time, she ends up in her new home forever - and ever! Birdie has been taking her time adapting to her new surroundings and we expect that of wherever she lands this time as well, so please be aware of that, too. She's a sweet gal, but it may take a bit for her to trust you. Patience is the key word here - patience and lots and lots of love. She is okay with other cats/kittens - dogs are unknown. Due to her potential to escape if not careful with open doors, we are advising no young children. Birdie is going to be a fabulous companion so don't let us scare you away from meeting her - all we ask is that you consider the possibilities. Birdie has an approx. DOB of 3/29/2022.
