Story
Our family is sadly looking to rehome our two bonded cats, Layla and Chester. Layla is a 13 year old tabby cat who is very relaxed and low needs. She likes to lay in the sun and sleep mostly. She loves canned tuna, chin scratches, and just being nearby. Chester is a seven year old Maine Coon with a huge personality. He is much like a lap dog and will cuddle you all day and night. He meows for attention and loves hugs and kisses. He also loves water, so he will happily sit outside the shower and wait for you to come out. They are best friends and have never known a life without eachother so must be rehomed together. Our family has three young children who the cats are amazing with so kids are fine. The cats do not get along with dogs and are very fearful of them. We are moving and our new living situation does not offer the best possible life for our kitties. They deserve someone to give them so much love and attention and be the center of their world. Please serious inquiries only.

Story
Looking to rehome my cat due to allergies getting worse. Looking for someone who’s experienced with cats and someone who can show her a lot of love and attention. Mystie is 1 and a half years old almost 2. She’s half Maine Coone and half tabby. She’s extremely loveable and loves to cuddle. Loves to play. She’s a unique cat and almost reminds me of a dog. She loves to play and I can explain more of the games she likes. It’s important that she gets attention and lots of love. I know she will bring a lot of happiness to your home. (I’d like to keep in contact here and there just so I could get updates on how she’s doing. Until she’s comfortable. She holds a special place in my heart. This is a must). Adoption fee of $75.00

Meet Ezra! Adoption fee: $275 Includes Transport Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Ezra is a stunning 6-month-old kitten with a heart just as beautiful as his looks. His story could have ended very differently—he was brought in as part of a trap-neuter-return program, meant to be fixed and released back outside. But the moment he arrived at the clinic, everyone quickly realized something important… Ezra is far too friendly to be a stray. He clearly once belonged to someone, and he absolutely deserves to belong to someone again. Now safe in rescue, Ezra is ready for his second chance at a forever home. He’s been fully vetted—neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV and heartworm. He’s a healthy, happy boy who loves to play, explore, and soak up attention. Ezra has a gentle, affectionate personality and gets along great with other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-cat home or a perfect companion for a young resident kitty. Ezra is one of the lucky ones. He was given a chance to leave the outdoor life behind and find the love and safety of a real home—but now he needs someone to complete that journey. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion, Ezra is ready to fill your home (and your heart) with joy. Apply today and give this special boy the forever he deserves 💛 We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. Story
Mittens will do best in a household without another pet. She is very affectionate and bonds well and enjoys cuddling with humans, however. She has recent records from the Vet and received a good health report. We have her Immunizations records and all other documentation. She is 9 lbs and is 5 years old. She resembles a small Maine Coon cat, but I'm honestly not sure of breed. My sister has to move into an apartment building that does not allow pets and we're hoping we can re-home her soon.Thank you!

Story
She was adopted by my Dad when her previous owner passed away. My Dad passed away in July and we have 3 other cats that she has not melded with in the 2 years she has lived in the house. We have tried our best to integrate her but she was an only cat for to long. She is a typical loner cat, as she only shows affection when she wants to. She is not a lap cat, although she will jump on the arm of the chair/couch to visit. She prefers to drink water from a faucet then a bowl.
