Maine Coon kittens & cats in Frederick, Maryland

Tumbler has been rescued along with May from the panhandle of Fla. She is a Maine Coon mix with fur as soft as a bunny rabbit and a beautiful plume tail. She is the friendliest cat who is more dog like and will follow you around. She has the main coon larger body and bone structure. She is bonded with all the cats currently being fostered in our rescue but originally came in with Mau. Erma was abandon on the streets with her littermates and their feral mother. Right now they are living with other cats in a foster home. She is bonded with her brother Max, together all the time, according to their foster mom. She is looking for a home that will adopt Max, too, keeping the siblings together. They are expecting a baby next month and do not think they can take care of Maxiums any longer. The local Humane Society took him into a foster home and asked the Rescue to help this sweet guy find a home. He's doing great in the new foster home. If you’re looking for your new best friend, a friend who will talk with you, Paisley is your girl!! We’ve had sweet Paisley since birth. As she gets older, she is looking for a less stressful environment for her to thrive in, one in which she can be a solo kitty. Paisley has never been outdoors, and has enjoyed her time inside. She has proven to be skittish in newer environments.

Hi! My name is Lous, I am a huge love bug with an adorable little chirp! I enjoy the company of people and other animals. I love to be petted, brushed, and play with string, wand, and catnip toys. I am a great companion, if you are retired or work from home, I will be there to keep your lap warm all day. If you have a busy schedule, I am perfectly content to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by and nap while waiting for you to come home and tell me about your day. Navarre (from the movie Lady Hawk) and his sister Oona are the sweetest pair. Navarre is a snuggle buddy. He very much wants lots of love and attention and is happy to get it from kids as well as adults, and would love to play other cats. He's like a rag doll. He will cuddle up and give biscuits on the inside of your arm. He will even roll over and let you rub his tummy and do air biscuits. The only thing he doesn't like is butt pats. He'll run away if you do. He gets a little squirmy when doing his nails but he lets you do them. He doesn't scratch furniture but loves scratching on the cardboard scratchers. No litter box issues. Oona gets bored of playing a little faster than Navarre which why Navarre would love an additional friend to play with. At the adoption center, he would walk around stretching up to look into the other cages and make friendly chirps at everyone. He would probably enjoy playing and cuddling with dogs; he's definitely interested in making friends with his foster's Corgi.  This bonded pair of Maine Coon mixes live up to the name of gentle giants.  Sweet and friendly, they enjoy playing with people or just chilling.  Their fur is luxuriously soft and has a silky texture that makes them much lower maintenance for grooming than most long haired cats, i.e. brushing is a fun bonding activity vs. a mandatory daily chore. Oona and Navarre are very calm: friendly towards other cats, good with children, and would likely do well with well-behaved dogs. Navarre does not have a dominant personality and would be fine joining a house with an established male cat.  Oona's presence would also help with integration.     If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Oona (fairy from the movie Legend) and her brother Navarre are the sweetest pair.  Oona had to have an eye surgically removed due to an infection when she was a kitten. She is used to her visual impairment and doesn't let it impact her activity at all.  She navigates the world with confidence and grace. She had her name before losing the eye. (Oona.. uno lol) The loss of her eye adds to her sweetness and charm. Looks like she's always winking at you. Oona doesn't put herself forward as much as Navarre but enjoys petting, brushing, and calm play. She gets bored of playing a little faster then Navarre and will then calmly retreat to a nice spot to nap. When she wants love she will follow you and jump up on the bed or the couch and paw at the air and do a type of whisper meow asking you to please pet her. She likes scritches, rubs, and butt pats. No place is off limits for some pets. She does let you pick her up but it's not her favorite. A perfect lady while getting her nails done and even does a bath without much fuss. Hi, I am Marco! My fosterma and fosterpa also nicknamed me Mr Floofypants and take lots of pictures of my floof! I also have very floofy paws, but nothing beats the floof around my face, it looks like a lion's mane. Once I know you are here for love, I am all in! I have a soft deep purr and love to be brushed and petted; sometimes if you stop petting me, I will ask for more.  I am not sure that I have seen a cat tower before so I am still experiencing new things! I drink out of a water bowl, but am not quite sure I understand the water fountain. Wolfie is a sweet Maine Coon mix with the most adorable ear tuffs and gorgeous coat.  Unfortunately, he is currently suffering from a bad haircut, but all his gorgeous fur should grow back in shortly.  He is a gentle, easy-going boy who enjoys watching the birds and squirrels out of the window of his foster home.  He is best in a home without young children or other cats. Priya is a loving, sweet cat who loves to cuddle. She is very friendly once she has had time to get to know new people. Priya is 7 1/2 years and is fully vetted. She loves to play and enjoys a warm sunny spot to call her own. Priya has been a wonderful companion and a true blessing during my cancer recovery periods. It breaks my heart to have to let her go after all we have been through together. It is no fault of Priya's that I must find her a new furever home. My health is in serious decline and soon I will not be able to care for my sweet baby girl. Priya will make you smile, she will give as much love as she is given. She has always been an indoor cat. Priya needs a loving furever family that will provide a safe, healthy and happy indoor home.
