Story
Hi - My name is Frieza and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a beautiful domestic shorthair, but because I am brand new to these parts, there`s not much more known about me or my personality just yet. If you check back a little later, I`m sure my foster parents will have a lot more information to post about me. If you have any questions, though, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org. Or if you just think it`s love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me Frieza! My adoption fee is $150.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We’ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we’re up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Scout, on the other hand, likes to make sure he knows where his 'brother' is most of the time.   Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes. Story
Morty is about 10 years old, a very large Maine Coon mix. I got him from BARCS in Baltimore when I was much younger, and our current home situation has caused some behavior problems. We are no longer able to keep him with us, but I am hoping he can go to a good home. He's a very sweet, affectionate cat, but does better when there is only one other cat or dog in the house. He's never been around children older than one, so we're not sure how he'll be with children.

Story
Hi! My name is Lous, I am a huge love bug with an adorable little chirp! I enjoy the company of people and other animals. I love to be petted, brushed, and play with string, wand, and catnip toys. I am a great companion, if you are retired or work from home, I will be there to keep your lap warm all day. If you have a busy schedule, I am perfectly content to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by and nap while waiting for you to come home and tell me about your day. I will keep you company following you around and sit beside you when it's time to rest. Check out this video for how cute it is! (copy-paste this link into a new window) - Lous is so cute!. The Fancy Cats people say my belly is a bit too round and I sort of waddle when I walk, which makes me even more endearing. If you are looking for an affectionate bestie, I'm your guy!  If you would like to see more videos of me and some of my friends (some have been adopted), check out my mom's foster page https://www.instagram.com/shannysfosters/   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Hi there, please know this is a very painful decision for me. Nala is the sweetest girl. I adopted her from the shelter several months ago. At first things were amazing - she loves to cuddle in bed, and sit next to you wherever you are in the house. She loves playing with her toys but also enjoys quiet naps and alone time. She will tolerate being held for short periods but isn't a lap cat (yet). As she has gotten comfortable in my home, she has become more playful and friendly. She is on the shy side, so requires a gentle energy. I had planned to keep her but my work schedule has changed and I am unable to give her the attention she deserves. Looking for a loving home who will respect her needs and give her the love she deserves. Note she is a tripawd (missing 1 hind leg) but has no problem walking, jumping, running. She can jump onto chairs but not countertops (which I think is a plus).
