Maine Coon kittens & cats in Aberdeen, Maryland

Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Meet Petra! 🩷🐾 Petra is a large female 7 yr old Maine Coone mix taken in by our rescue as an owner surrender. Petra is friendly to new people and enjoys the company of other cats, but would do well in a home by herself as well. Petra is a very large cat at about 20 lbs. Petra is spayed, vaccinated, & chipped, ready to find his her home! 🏡

She has the good looks and awesome personality the breed is known for. She is incredibly affectionate and friendly and loves everyone she meets. She has a dog-like personality and wants nothing more than to sit with you and be pet. She gets along great all the other cats and dogs at her foster home- a true friend of everyone! She has very long, thick fur that gets easily matted (she had to have some mats shaved off when she arrived at DPR). So she will definitely need someone who is committed to brushing and grooming her regularly to keep her comfortable. She is a stunning cat who captures the hearts of everyone who meets her!  This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Missy (f) is a beautiful Maine Coon mix who found herself living alone and in need of a new person to love when her senior, human dad passed away. She will take a minute to warm up to you but will quickly become your best friend. Missy is 5 years old and the perfect age if you are looking for a kitty who is playful but not high energy. She is talkative but not excessively. Missy also has perfect potty manners. Our gorgeous fluffy lady has lots of love to give to the lucky person or family who adopters her. We think Missy would do best in a quiet home as an only fur companion. ##2357057##
