Tootsie Is an extraordinary cat, she is a Hemingway . . . and has 7 toes . . . She has a great playful attitude and loves to be around . . . will follow you and be curious . . . . and sometimes swipe at your legs in a playful manner. Although she needs to petted . . .. only on her head, every day, which is her choice of tolerance for some reason, and she loves to scratch on her 4x4 3 ft. long beam that just lays on the ground for her. I love her and been taking care of her after my neighbor died, but now I must move! . . . and they don't allow cats . . . she stays outside but wants to come in. . . She has a buddy also, I would hate to separate them, but if it means a new good home, so be it. . . God Bless you ! Helen

Best thing about Pesto (who responds to Reaper, renamed by previous owners) - he is the most loving, easygoing cat. So far he hasn't been picky about food, though he is on an SO prescription urinary diet. He actually likes to eat a bit too much so the GK vet said to limit his quantities so he can lose weight (he gained 1 lb in 1 month while in foster). Favorite places to sleep - padded areas: chairs, blankets on the couch, etc. Pesto doesn't have a favorite toy, he's so fun & outgoing that anything you'll give him he'll be happy about. He loves cuddles, scratches, brushing, will allow us to touch him pretty much anywhere - including his belly and his toes. He enjoys when we play with his ears, just like our own cats. He loves to play with other cats too, and gets along very well with humans, though is wary of dogs. His favorite day: food, play, cuddles, and scratches! Esmerelda is a beautiful long-haired young lady of approximately 5-6 yrs old.  Because of her extreme skittishness around people, she became a member of our sanctuary feral cat program. She graduated from this locale and has since lived in a communal home with other cats where she has become much more at ease with people.  She gets along well with her roommates and enjoys being brushed and petted.  She is a calm kitty - very content to lie about quietly most of the day.  On occasion, she will venture forth and express interest in toys and exploring.  She requires so little to be happy - a tranquil home, a window in the sun and days filled with peacefulness and love.  We feel she would prefer a home with no young children or dogs. Another cat would work out well.
