Omelet and Oatmeal MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. These kittens are Katya's kids known as "The Breakfast Kittens". Katya is the amazing Russian Maine Coon mom you can see posted here. Answering the call of Mother Nature she escaped out and got pregnant. Her human mom said No No No and No! and left the whole young family at the local shelter. They were offered to me and I couldn't say YES! fast enough. I was lucky enough to foster eight Russian Maine Coons some years back and knew immediately what I was seeing. I am definitely a fan of outrageous ear tufts. Katya's five kittens are wonderful. They have her intelligence and her Maine Coon playful personality. They are very beautiful kittens though none have their mom's lush long coat. They are active, loving, curious mischievous kittens, four girls, and one boy. We have divided them into pairs to go home: Silver Dollar Pancake will go home with Granola, Omelet with Oatmeal, and Dimitri Pumpernickel, the boy, will go home separately. Omelet and Oatmeal are very compatible sisters, confident, active, and affectionate. Smart, curious athletes, they are both very comfortable in a human's arms. Omelet who has the red ( yolk ) on her head turns herself upside down in order to put her head in your hand. All the time. She loves that. She is maybe even a little more adventurous and extroverted than her sister. You will hear the patter of their little feet thundering down your hallways. These two are born to play. Oatmeal has dramatic black stripes and leg banding. She also has the biggest ear tufts of the litter and those tufts have been growing recently. The Maine Coon genes from their mom will keep these kids growing and changing til they are well over three years. They are a work in progress. Oatmeal matches her sister's energy and is so friendly she will probably run to greet guests visiting your home. They both love attention. This litter has grown up being around other cats. Silver Dollar is the only alpha cat of the litter. The male, Dimitri ( Pumpernickel) is the biggest, with an endless tail, the most laid back and gentle. They are all smart, social, curious, beautiful little companions. These kitties are good family cats. They would be fine with most respectful children and would probably have a ball playing with friendly dogs. Their photos may show them at slightly different ages. Their colors and coat patterns are still developing. Some family will be so lucky to have their loving company. Omelet is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Omelet (and Oatmeal) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Bodie XL says he does not think it is funny when people ask him if he is a dog. "Stop joking!!" he says " I am all CAT!" He is, of course, 17 pounds of cat. "And I am not FAT either!" he says. He is right - he is all solid bone and muscle. He is just big. His back is long and broad, his snow-white feet are huge, and his plume of a tail is magnificent. When people see him they say "OMG Look at HIM!" There is something about really big cats that is just fun, that makes you smile. No, toddlers must not be allowed to ride on his back though that's an appealing image. Of course, size isn't everything. Being a red tabby with white feet also adds to his charisma. Even more delightful is this gentle giant's personality. What a sweetheart he is! He seems to love all humans. He was surrendered to a shelter by his owner's relatives due to illness. The shelter workers all fell in love with him. They called me to take him because he was so " reactive" to the other cats in the shelter. He really dislikes other cats and gets tense and anxious around them. He must have some memory of a fight or a serious problem with a kitty. He dislikes both males and females so I don't think this was a mating issue. Anyway, this boy needs to be an only cat, no question about that. I have no idea how he would be with a dog. He's not a dominant cat and he has a vulnerable, sensitive side despite his big size. He was born to be a companion. Generally, the red boys, as I call them, are loving sweet kitties, real cuddlers. I always take them into foster when I can. And so many folks are looking for them. Maine Coons have coats that are "seasonally variable" which means they shed in the summer so their coat looks less full then than it does during the cold months. This may be the case here- his tail hair is much more plush than that on his back. Or this may just be the way he is. Bodie XL is an easy cat to care for. He eats anything. He loves to be brushed and fussed over. He is as healthy as can be. He uses his box ( an extra big one please). He would be a good companion to people strong enough to pick him up. Bodie would also be a good family cat with kids old enough to understand what respectful behavior is. His sensitive side makes me want to say he needs to be extra gently and kindly treated. Of course, all kitties (and humans ) need that. Some person, couple, or family will be so lucky to have his solid, warm body and wonderful companionship. Bodie XL is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Story
Piper and Zorro are brother and sister. I have had them since they were kittens - October 2022. They are smart, playful and absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, as they got older they started to become territorial and pick on my blind kitty and senior kitty. This is why I am looking to re-home them. They are currently in their own room in my house to separate them from my other cats. They are sad to not have the freedom they once had and I do not want this life for them. They deserve to have a home where they can roam around and have more space. They are currently indoor only. Once they get to know and trust you, they are very friendly and loving. They love to play and will make you laugh!
