Mama and baby… if you can call it that when baby is bigger than mama! They were rescued in 2016 when Millie was about a year old and Spice was a tiny kitten. You can see that they get along well enough with my big dog that they can sleep near each other with their backs turned! Recently my daughter brought home a stray kitten that they also basically ignored. They have never been aggressive toward any person or animal. They have never had any illnesses. Vet records available. They sleep together in their large crate at night and play with toys on a string. Millie loves to cuddle. Spice loves to be brushed. Although they are indoor only, I have a screened-in balcony where they enjoy sunbathing, bird watching and sipping from their water fountain. It will be hard for all of us to leave this home.

Toby is in need of a new home. Unfortunately, his owner is not able to take care of him anymore. Her neighbor reached out to us about helping find him the perfect home. He is about 7 to 9 years old. The owner has had him since he was about 2 years old and due to poor health the neighbor has agreed to foster until he finds his new forever home. Toby is a very sweat cat. He loves human interaction, but sometimes he will let you know (by a low growl) that he does not want to be pet, he just wants to be near you, or on your lap. He loves to play with all sorts of toys. He still acts like a kitten when he is playing. He is not comfortable with other cats and would do best as a single cat. He has warmed up to the fosters dog as long as the dog is very calm. He just loves to be near humans, and purrs a lot even when not being pet. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. VANESSA and her sister SCARLETT VAN HELSING were living in a back yard in North Hollywood, California. They were surviving. The woman that was living on the property was barley taking care of them. Then we discovered that coyotes had been coming around. So we picked them up. And to our surprise they had babies!! Well because both the girls were probably 5-7 months old (age not known exactly) one of them decided she was not going to be a mommy. So our foster decided to separate that one and they both got very aggressive. So our foster put the one mommy back and technically one of them raised the kittens, while the other mommy just "lived" with them. Kittens are growing and the mommies are ready to be adopted! Cookie is a beautiful orange tabby cat. She is 4 years old. She loves to lay in the sun. She enjoys cuddling with you on a blanket. With adults, she warms up more easily. She’ll happily greet just about anyone who walks through the door, rub up against them, and say hello. She also sleeps at the foot of my bed every night — she likes being near people, even if she’s not snuggled right up on you. She has no medical concerns, and she definitely has a big personality — silly, sassy, and full of character.
