Story
Stripes is a bit skittish. He is friendly when it is quiet and calm. He is strictly an indoor cat. He was outside a couple of times and will hide behind a bush until you let him back in. He will likely sleep at your feet at night and under the bed during the day. He has lived in a home with 2 other cats and a dog. He is ok with kids as well but will avoid them if they are loud and rambunctious. Stripes is about 8 years old and has no health issues. Since he is a long hair he does have a tendency to get his fur knotted up and he will pull out tuffs of his fur as he grooms himself. He is declawed in the front. Unfortunately I am getting married and my fiances dogs do not tolerate cats.

Story
Niko is a 5-year-old cat with a personality as bold as he is loving! Rescued as a kitten from the streets, Niko has grown into a confident and independent kitty who knows what he wants – and he’s not afraid to tell you! While he absolutely loves cuddles, kisses, and pets, he’s also quick to let you know when he’s had enough. His "spicy" side makes him as entertaining as he is affectionate, and he’ll always keep you on your toes. An explorer at heart, Niko has a serious love for adventure and climbing. If you have vertical spaces, shelves, or high places for him to conquer, he’ll be in heaven! He thrives in an environment where he can safely climb, perch, and observe his surroundings from above, so a home with lots of opportunities for exploration and climbing would be ideal for him. If you’re looking for a cat who is a perfect mix of affectionate and independent, with a dash of sass, Niko might be your guy.

Story
Ash is a special boy who has overcome a lot in his short life. Found as a kitten on the streets, he came to us with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. In his early years, Ash was understandably skittish, but with time and patience, he’s blossomed into a gentle, loving cat who just needs someone to see beyond his shy exterior. Due to a past accident, Ash’s pelvis was injured, and he can no longer go outside or be in situations where he could get hurt again. His fragile bones make him a little more cautious, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest companion once he feels safe with you. He may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll reward you with endless fun and playing! Ash is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can feel secure and loved. If you’re willing to give him the time and understanding he needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, tender friend for life.

Story
de Oro (of gold) was taped into a cardboard box and left outside an office. He is very shy, but totally sweet-natured ... in no way aggressive. Having said that, he behaves almost feral if you try to pick him up. He is beautiful and has amazingly soft hair and purrs whenever he is pet ... loves the attention ... but is still working on coming out for attention. He is 5-7 years old. Like most rescues, we don't believe he is a purebred anything, but he is so non-aggressive, so soft and has tufts of white coming out of his ears ... like a small Maine Coon. He has white at his throat. He keeps getting prettier and rubs against my legs when feeling confident.. He loves to be around the other non-aggressive cats, but won't defend food against the aggressive ones. On the other hand, he loves Fancy Feast!. We consider de Oro a "project" since we expect him to continue getting prettier and more loving ... but have no idea how long that will take. It won't happen in rescue with other cats. Story
K9 was abandoned by a neighbor 3 years ago. He needs to be able to go outside and come back in for attention, food & water. He sleeps in the outside screened room. If left inside he becomes restless and will be constantly wanting attention and getting into things all night. K9 is very friendly and loves to get attention from people. He is intelligent and will argue with you when you tell him something he doesn’t want to do, but he does listen very well. He gets along with small dogs but becomes defensive with bigger dog's. He has always lived with other cats and dogs but when he can’t go outside he gets frustrated and picks on the other female cat even though he’s lived with this female cat for 4 years. Most people where I live know his story so they have tolerated him but new people who have moved in my park are not as understanding. Please no home next to a maid roads.
