Story
Meet Johnny, a SUPER cute and fluffy male maltese/yorkie mix puppy! Johnnu and his sister, Frances, were born to mama Baby on 12/6/2024 (mom is about 7 lbs). They are both expected to stay tiny like their mama!  Johnny is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone (dogs, cats, people, and kids)! Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper socialization and training, will grow into wonderful dogs! Johnny is medically up to date (age appropriate) and will be available at our adoption event on 2/23 at Petco in Dayville, CT! Applications are being accepted now and we will review applications based on best fit for these puppies as the event gets closer. Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2288710##

Story
Meet Baby, a sweet 1-2 year old spayed female maltese mix who is sure to steal your heart! This tiny gal only weighs about 7 lbs. She is the loving mama of Johnny and Frances, born 12/6/24. She is now ready to retire from mama duty and find a furever home of her own!  Baby is a friendly girl who gets along with everyone - dogs, cats, people, and kids! She is low energy and would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a low maintenance dog. She enjoys sleeping on laundry piles and walking in the snow!  Baby will be available at our adoption event on 2/23 at Petco in Dayville, CT! Applications are being accepted now and we will review applications based on best fit for her as the event gets closer.
