Meet Miss Marla. Marla is a 4 year old teddy bear mix. I believe she is part lhasa apso, and she is smart and sweet and playful. Marla had a rocky start to her life so far but she is resilient! When I first got her, she didn't know what stairs were. In three weeks she has learned to go up and down stairs, sometimes reluctantly, and she will signal that she needs to go outside by going to the door. Marla is very laid back and quiet, she is not a barker. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so sometimes you have to work with that to get her to do things. But she is trainable! We got charlie from Facebook about 4 years ago. He's been so good to us and in return we have given him a nice life as well. About 2 years ago we brought in a new dog that is a little big bigger than him. Both are poodle mixes. They've been really good buddies over the last 2 years but I'm not sure if charlie has any issues ( mentally ) but the last 4 days he's been really aggressive towards the new dog. He is only aggressive with the dog. With humans he is so good but he just gets scared to open up anymore when the other dog is around. Charlie I believe would make a great companion for an older couple or even a nice young couple. We would love to keep both dogs but even then I fell on hard times with hours cut and back taxes that drained my account. Eventually we may have to get rid of our 2nd dog as well but we shall see. Again charlie is good with me and my wife but he's been super aggressive with the other puppy as of late. We would be sad to see him go but to the right situation

Hi! My name is Eli Mae, a poodle bichon mixMy foster mom is Linda Peterson Hyde. I am currently crashing at her house in Raymond until I can find my permanent Home. You can contact her for more information 262-909-7883. Enough about her, time to tell you about me. The vet assumes I am 3-5 years old and my teeth look great. Here are a few things I like: my greenie treats at night, the other big and small dogs in the house, a yard to play in, and slowly getting used to being touched and held. It does feel good once I trust you.( I was a puppy mill dog so people make me nervous). Things I’m a bit afraid of: loud noises, doorways, some people, and that horrible leash so a fenced in yard is a must. I am working really hard on the “potty” thing too. I usually just follow what the other dogs in the house do. I am told often l am the sweetest thing with such sad loving eyes. I will make a great companion, you just need to be patient with me. I was rescued from a puppy mill, where I spent my days locked in a cage. Even though my life was tough, I still have a big smile on my face, and my tail wags nonstop. At first, I was a little scared of people, but now I get excited whenever I see my foster mom. I follow her wherever she goes. I love it when she rubs my belly and tells me that I’m a sweet girl. Despite my age, I’m as playful and happy as a puppy. I get along with other dogs, but I would like to be the only dog in the house. Children are okay with me, as long as they are gentle and patient. The groomer said I did a great job and called me a very good girl. I'm potty trained and learned how to walk on a leash. I still have to learn how to go up and down stairs. I would love to meet you! Pooch is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. She is a lovely girl that will make a great companion. Her adoption fee is $450. She is currently fostered in Chicago, Illinois.
