Story
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name: Ian (IAN1124JNSMD)Estimated Breed: Lhasa Apso MIXApproximate Age: 8-10 yearsApproximate Weight: 15 lbsCurrently Living at: FosterAdoption Fee: $300DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Ian! He's a shaggy little package of friendliness, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a playful nudge. Ian's cuddly nature makes him the perfect snuggle buddy for those quiet evenings at home. Ian is also fond of his canine companions and gets along well with other dogs. At intake his estimated age was set as 8-10, but he is active and agile and acts like a younger dog. His easy-going temperament makes him a joy to have around, and his small size will make him a nice fit for most any home. He has been shaved down because his coat was very matted, but it will grow in long and fluffy, as shown in the last (pre-cut) photo. Why not submit an application today -- both you and sweet little Ian will be so happy you did!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
