Story
Meet Falcor, the ultimate couch potato with a heart of gold! This 10-year-old Lhasa Apso mix has perfected the fine art of chilling. His daily agenda? Napping, snacking, and ensuring his bed is as cushiony as possible. If being cozy were a sport, Falcor would take home the gold medal. Despite his senior status, Falcor still enjoys a little outdoor exploration—just enough to stretch his legs before returning to his throne of blankets. He lives for food and massages (seriously, give him a good rub, and you’ll have a best friend for life). Now, let’s talk about his special quirks. Falcor is mostly blind and completely deaf, which only makes his love even purer. He’s looking for a kind-hearted human who wants a low-energy, snuggle-loving companion. If you’re searching for a best friend who won’t judge your binge-watching habits and will always be down for a snack break, Falcor is the one. A few more details for consideration: 🐱 Certified Cat-Approved! Falcor is currently living with a cat in his foster home and gets along beautifully—no drama, no chasing, just peaceful co-existence. If you’ve got a feline friend, Falcor will likely be totally cool with it! 👶 Tiny Humans & High Energy Homes? Maybe Not. While Falcor is all about the chill life, he’s probably not the best fit for a household with young kids who want a playful, interactive pup. He prefers quiet companionship over zoomies and constant attention. If your home is more “cozy movie nights” than “non-stop action,” he’ll fit right in! 🐶 Dog Friend or Foe? TBD! We don’t yet know how Falcor feels about other dogs, but given his love for relaxation, he’d likely do best with calm canine companions (or as your one-and-only snuggle buddy). ☁️💕 If you are interested in finding out more about Falcor, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Falcor is being fostered in West Roxbury, MA. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
