My name is Kobe, and I am a 13 year-old Lhasa Apso mix. If you're looking for a mellow dude to just hang out with, I am everything you could ask for, and here's why... I will let you know if I need to potty, and I would never DARE to make our home dirty! I am careful with what I step on, and my favorite part after doing business on a walk is going back to our home. Since I'm so mellow, I love sleeping, and I spend most of my time napping, dreaming of treats! My foster dad says I snore gently - but it doesn't disturb anyone and everyone finds it endearing. I am hypoallergenic and do not shed, and don't have any underlying health conditions. My eyes are getting a bit blurry due to my age...but don't count me out for fun just yet! I can - and love - to play tug of war and fetch. I am very versatile and do well in all situations and environments: with people, pets, and in the car. (Did I already say I really do like napping everywhere?) I'm smart too! I even respond well to commands and will communicate back to you if I need anything, so you don't have to do any guesswork. My idea of a perfect day is just being anywhere where I can hang out with you!I have been well loved throughout my life, with great food and medical attention, but now I find myself in need of my forever home. I am fully vaccinated and neutered (I wasn't keen on that idea but was assured it was best for my health). I have had a thorough health examination, Im microchipped and I will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption. Once she is used to the new environment, she will follow you around in the house. BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso/Maltipoo, who is 7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit does bite people. His main flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a bite out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and we are searching for an understanding and patient new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be.
