Story
Alfie is the sweetest, most loyal boy you’ll ever meet. He’s a true people lover and has a blast playing with his foster siblings outside. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, chewing on his favorite toy, or going for a long walk, Alfie’s got a zest for life and enjoys every moment. He’s crate-trained and sleeps soundly at night. Alfie is doing great with potty training and is highly food-motivated, which helps him learn quickly. He’s also a bit of a chatterbox, but he’s been an excellent student, especially when it comes to calming down for mealtime in his crate. Although he’s a big boy with plenty of puppy energy, Alfie is a velcro pup who loves being close to his people. He’s still learning not to jump up, so he may do best in a home with older children or adults. Alfie is also adjusting to life with pup siblings, learning to share and be mindful of resources. Because of this, he might do best as an only dog or with a family committed to continuing his training. Alfie is all about showing love and affection, and he’s going to make the most devoted and loving companion for his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate dog, Alfie is the one! ##2295782##

Story
Sandler is your typical sweet puppy! He responds well to praise and is always wanting to make you happy. He is very loyal and can be protective at times. He is crate trained and we are working on potty training when he has free roam of the house. He is extremely food motivated but does respond to positive reinforcement as well. He has no idea how big he is (or will be) and spatial awareness doesn’t necessarily exist right now— but it’s the cutest!  He has a habit of jumping/counter surfing when he can tell there’s food being prepared, but we are working on this— so he will need someone who will continue creating boundaries and restrictions while training him in other areas such as walking on a leash (he’s got that puppy zig zag going pretty strong at the moment). We have been working on loose leash walking with a slip lead and he seems to be responding well.  He is dog friendly but can be confused when other dogs are setting boundaries. He has to be fed in his crate as he is having some food aggression around meal times but is totally fine with sharing toys/bones/treats! He has not been tested with cats but doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive. He loves car rides and patio hangs!  ##2295783##

Story
Hi there, I’m Murphy — a big ol’ fluffy cloud with a heart of gold and a bark that’ll make the mailman jump (but don’t worry, I’m mostly just saying “hello!”). I’m a Great Pyrenees mix, which means I’m basically a professional snuggler, expert yard protector, and full-time best friend — all wrapped up in one very floofy package. I’ve got a lot of love to give, especially to kiddos. My favorite human is a three-year-old, and let me tell you, I take my job of “gentle giant babysitter” very seriously. I’m happy to plop down like a big pillow for storytime or offer my fluff for tiny hands to pet. Kids just get me, ya know? I’m also a pretty social dude — I like playing with other dogs, but when it comes to food, I prefer to keep my snacks to myself (I mean, wouldn’t you if someone tried to steal your bacon?). So if I’m gonna have any fur-siblings, my new family will need to help me work on my “sharing is caring” skills, or I might just do best as your one and only pup. Honestly, I’d be totally fine soaking up all the love anyway! A few quirks about me: I’m not a big fan of kennels, and I do get a little nervous when my humans leave. Sometimes I might chew on a shoe or two if I’m left alone too long (I mean, what else am I supposed to do—write you a love letter?). I also have what my humans call a selective hearing problem — basically, if I see a sandwich on the counter, my ears magically stop working, and that sandwich becomes my sandwich. Oops. So I’ll need someone who’s either really good at hiding food or really good at teaching a big stubborn fluffball some manners (or both). But hey — nobody’s perfect, right? What I can promise you is endless love, ridiculous amounts of fluff, and a whole lot of laughs. I’m just looking for a family who understands my big dog quirks, loves my big dog heart, and doesn’t mind a little bit of fur on their clothes. Sound like you? Cool. Grab a leash and let’s go make some big fluffy memories together. ##1871226##
