I may not be the most playful pooch (though I did fetch a ball once in foster care-go me!)&#44 but I sure do know how to enjoy the simple things in life&#44 like short walks and basking in the sun.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;After a day of snoozing&#44 I sleep like a champ in my crate (with just a little whine to keep things interesting). I love being in the same room as my favorite humans but Iandamp;#39;m more of a andamp;quot;close but not too closeandamp;quot; kind of guy. Iandamp;#39;m curious about new people&#44 but I like to take my time getting to know them-no rushing here!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;So&#44 if youandamp;#39;re looking for a sweet companion to chill with and enjoy some lazy days&#44 Iandamp;#39;m your guy! This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. Meet Puppy Happy Hershey.  He is a happy and playful young boy who is sweet as a piece of hershey chocolate.  You just can't help but smile when you watch his antics as he plays with his two buddies in his foster mom's back yard.  They have the best time ever running, jumpiing and chasing each other.  These boys are fast friends so Hershey really needs another little buddy in his forever home.  He would be lost and lonely without a young canine playmate.  This sweet little boy loves people and does not meet a strange.  He approaches easily to smell you and when he knows you are alright you will be his buddy.  Hershey will also settle down to watch TV or take in a movie with you.  He would be an excellent family pet and a great companion.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he rides great in the car.  If you are looking for a sweet boy that will love you to pieces and be a great family addition then you have found him in Hershey.  Hershey is scheduled to be neutered and finish his vetting on 9/9.  He will then be ready to travel to his forever home.  We hope that will be with you.  To be considered for Hershey's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Hershey is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
