Story
Hi! My name is Sweet Pea! I'm called that because I'm as sweet as they come! I am initially a scared girl but once I feel safe and I know you are my friend I will give you love and loyalty, bonus if you offer up extra good treats! I'm currently working on wearing a collar or being on a leash. I've had a few bad experiences with them, so I'm looking for a home with a fenced in yard until I'm comfortable with them. I am a little 18lb min pin mix and I love to run and do zoomies with the other little dog in my foster home - I would be happiest with the companionship of another similar sized dog to play with and help show me the ropes. I'm hoping someone can see the potential I have and will be willing to give me time and space to feel comfortable. I would do best in a home with no kids or older children who know how to respect a dog's space. I may do fine with dog-savvy cats. I am house and crate trained and would love to be your loyal shadow. Might you have the time and love to help me become my very best dog?My adoption fee is $200. I am fully vetted- spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and health checked. To apply to adopt me please visit caws.org. Thank you! Story
Paws is a 13 year male 18.8 pound black Dachshund mix. Our little man came to be a CAWS dog when his 2 legged people had to go to assisted living. His blood work is good and he is scheduled for a dental. He is on Fluoxetine for stress. We have started this little nugget on a healthy weight food so we can get his waist line down to around 15 pounds. Even being a few pounds overweight Paws bounds here there and everywhere and actually does 16 steps up and down during the day to help his foster mom work, such a wonderful assistant he is too. His hearing and eye sight seem to be pretty darn good for his age. He does marvelously with the other 4 legged furkids in his foster home with proper introductions. He gives his 2 legged people kisses but can do little nibbles as he gets pretty excited. He is totally house and crate trained but he does not have to be in a crate very often. He has not had a single accident in his foster home. He is not a barker, whew. He sleeps with his 2 legged people but will sleep in a bed on the floor, he does like his couch time cuddles too. Paws has so much love and unconditional devotion to give. He needs to spend the remainder of his precious little life in a house with a yard. If you are looking for the most precious and sweet friend and companion, please arrange a meet and greet with this magnificent gentleman.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100. Story
Hey there, future best friend! I'm Mystic, your soon-to-be favorite min pin mix! I'm on the lookout for my emotional support human, and I promise to bring a whole lot of love and fun into your life. Here's a little about me: · Adorable and Unique: I'm a beautiful min pin mix (about a year old) and everyone says I'm quite the looker! · Shy but Loving: I might be a bit unsure about new things, but once I warm up, I love with all my heart. If you sit down, I'll be right there with you, ready for some quality cuddle time. Just don't try to pick me up too quickly—I might get a bit nervous and look for an escape route! · Crate? No Thanks!: My foster mom tried putting me in a crate once, and let's just say it wasn't my favorite. I cried for hours! I'd much rather snuggle up next to you at night. · Dog-Friendly: I get along with other dogs, but I can be a bit of a resource guarder. With a little patience and love, I'll learn to share. · Learning New Tricks: I'm getting the hang of the dog door and potty pads. Going outside is fun, especially when my people join me! So, if you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be with you, I'm your pup! Let's make some amazing memories together. Can't wait to meet you! Mystic has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
