Story
ABOUT ME… Hello, I am Crimson!! I am a dachshund mix that is a little shy at first, but once I know you are ok, I would love to be your best friend! I love to cuddle and give kisses. I am fostered in a home with other dogs ranging from 5 weeks to 14 years old, so I get along with all age groups! I was rescued out of a hoarding case, and I am just learning how to be a dog, but I am fast learner! My foster Mommy has been working with me and I am also learning from the other dogs. I AM GREAT WITH… I am a great cuddler. I get along great with the other dogs. I am a fast learner. I share easily and treats drive me to learn more. I am left freely in the house while my foster Mommy works and I have not messed with anything I'm not supposed to. I have been in a crate, but I honestly do well not being in it also. I AM STILL WORKING ON… I was not potty trained, but I am working hard on it, and I am almost there. I go outside and inside very easily. I also am not used to people feeding me treats, so my foster Mommy is always reminding me to take the treats nice, but I'm starting to understand. I AM NOT GOOD WITH… I am very afraid of leashes and belts. My foster Mommy has been laying them around the house so I can sniff them and know they will not hurt me. This may take a little time and patience. I also have not met any cats or children at this house, so I'm not sure how I will react to them. I REQUIRE… Just a little patience and understanding while I learn I do not have to be afraid of people or leashes. I promise you will see just how wonderful I am! **All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**
