Come and meet me at our adoption event at Forgotten Star Brewing, Fridley on 3/8 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm! Age: Approximately 8-9 years old Weight: 13 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Cannoli and Mousse, a charming bonded pair of longhaired dachshunds who grew up together in a loving home, but (due to their previous owners' health challenges) are now seeking a forever family to love them both. Mousse: An 8-year-old, blue-eyed, 13-pound sweetheart. Mousse can be shy and might dribble a bit if alarmed by loud noises or new situations, but he quickly follows his braver uncle Cannoli's lead. His alopecia necessitates warm sweaters, but honestly this makes him even cuter! Despite missing most of his teeth, Mousse loves all kinds of food, almost-fetch, and racing around during outdoor time. See Cannoli's page for his detailed bio Both dogs are well-behaved, potty on command, and crate very well (though they happily sleep in their humans' bed when allowed). They get along great with other dogs and cats, and they turn heads on the street with their adorable looks and loving personalities. Give this delightful doxie duo a chance to fill your home with love and joy!

Age: Approximately 9-10 years old Weight: 17 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Cannoli and Mousse, a charming bonded pair of longhaired dachshunds who grew up together in a loving home, but (due to their previous owners' health challenges) are now seeking a forever family to love them both. Cannoli: A 9.5-year-old, green-eyed, 17-pound beauty with a heartwarming personality. Although opinionated about food and weather, he'll eventually do anything his humans ask of him, and he loves nothing more than napping on top of his people. Calmer than his nephew Mousse, Cannoli nevertheless enjoys brisk walks and seems quite perceptive, clearly understanding more than basic commands. Mousse often steals the show, but Cannoli ends up stealing hearts. See Mousse's profile for his detailed bio. Story
Hi everypawdy. The name is Oscar. Oscar Mayer Wiener to be exact. 🌭 I am 1 year old and weigh 12 lbs. I am such a sweet boy. I get along with dogs of all sizes but prefer the small ones. I need a doggy friend in my home who is very well rounded, good with humans and animals, and most importantly LOVES to cuddle with me. Ideally my cuddle buddy is small like me too! I get along with all humans too. I’m still learning hands reaching for me are a good thing so you’ll have to be patient with me. As I learn to trust you, I’ll stop and let you pick me up. But I am a flight risk and door dasher. I will need a securely fenced yard because of this. I am also working on my leash skills. I don’t have it nailed down yet so I wouldn’t say I’m leash trained but I’m working really hard and making progress. I’m potty trained on a schedule. I am not a fan of being locked in a crate, although I do enjoy taking naps in them with my foster sibling. When you have to leave the house, I do best when left free with my foster sibling in a dog safe room. If you are gone too long, I know to use my potty pad that’s in my doggy room. I do get very excited for meal time and I might bark or whine at you to hurry up with my food. But other than that, I’m a pretty quiet guy. I’m enjoying starting to play with toys. I love the crinkly ones and squeaky ones. So much fun squeaking a squeaker and playing fetch! I enjoy all treats which helps me work on my training because I’m really food motivated. I like bully sticks, yak chews, beef trachea, kongs, and lick mats. You name it, I’ll probably love it. I do well in the car when I ride in my doggy hammock with a doggy friend and with a seatbelt to keep me secure. If I ride in a crate I get car sick a lot easier and it gives me more anxiety. I do great for bath time. I LOVE to cuddle. I will snuggle next to you or on your lap when we are on the couch and I will cuddle you all night long in bed and I’ll probably sneak in some kisses too. I love soft cozy blankets to snuggle into. If you can be patient, gentle, and loving with me, I will continue to blossom into such an amazing dog. You won’t be disappointed. Oh one last note, you might be wondering why my hair isn't grown in perfectly. After many vet appointments, tests and treatments, my dermatologist vet believes I have ischemic dermatopathy/vasculitis. This is a non-contagious condition and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm currently on some medication to see if it will help my hair grow back but only time will tell. For now, I hope you love me just the way I am. **due to being a flight risk, Oscar Mayer will need to stay within 60 miles of the Twin Cities metro area**
