Espresso is a gorgeous street dog who’s never experienced the love and comfort of a home. She’s about 3 years old and bony at 22 pounds. She’s probably a complete mutt—a mix of a bunch of breeds. She’s very scared at the rescue so far, but she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She hasn’t showed her teeth or growled at all with anyone—human or canine. She has so much love to give and is sure to open up in a home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. Monroe has blossomed beautifully since joining the rescue. Once a shy girl, she’s now full of wiggles and happiness! She absolutely adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.This 1-year-old, 26-pound Dachshund/Terrier mix has short legs and a long body. She loves toys and playtime, making her a joyful addition to any home. Lola is my name. I love all and want to be friends with everyone. I am mischievous and will get into trouble just for the attention. I am still very young and eager to explore new things. I want a loving family who will take me on adventures, then love on me while winding down. I don't like it when you focus on other dogs and sometimes I push them out of the way so I can be the center of attention! I have the sweetest face and my "love to be with you" attitude is the best kind to have! I am a medium sized girl and that makes me super PORTABLE! Take me with you to the beach, the mountains, the BATHROOM... I don't care where we go, as long as you take me with you!! I'm a energetic and driven girl with a strong prey drive, particularly chickens, birds, small animals and cats. I'll need a home without these types of pets to ensure everyone's safety. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
