Story
Tyson is a 1-year-old Dachshund mix weighing in at a compact 11.4 pounds. This little guy may be small, but he’s got a whole lot of love to give! Tyson is working on his house-training skills and will need a patient family to help him perfect them. He adores other dogs and enjoys cozying up to his foster sister for cuddle sessions. At a recent adoption event, Tyson was a natural with kids, so he'd likely fit right in with a family that includes young humans. Tyson is described as friendly, shy, and adaptable. His foster parents say he's a smart boy who just needs a bit of time to understand his family’s routine. Tyson is great in his crate, but he would much prefer a lap or a cozy spot beside you in bed. He’s a calm pup, not particularly playful, but he does enjoy a chew toy when he’s feeling bored. Mostly, Tyson just wants to be near his people and shower them with kisses. And don't forget the tummy rubs – he can't get enough of those! If you're looking for a gentle, quiet companion who’ll be your little shadow, Tyson may be the hot dog for you! His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Coney is a 1-year-old, 9-pound Dachshund mix with a gentle spirit and a big heart. He’s still working on his house-training and needs a family who can give him lots of love and patience to help him along the way. Once he feels safe, Coney blossoms into a super cuddly companion who adores being carried around by his favorite people. Though he’s initially timid, Coney warms up faster with women and shows his playful, loyal side. He’s happiest when he’s with other dogs or enjoying some quality playtime with his toys. Coney would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s ready to give him the time he needs to feel truly at home. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly friend who’s as sweet as can be, Coney might just be the perfect hot dog for you!  His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
