Daisy is experiencing so many firsts and boy is she excited! Toys, cozy beds, open arms full of love, she lights up over all these things like a kid on Christmas morning. This is a girl that is sweet, friendly, melts for belly rubs and is eager to please. Plus, she loves baby talk and loves to “hold hands” when she is next to you, it's a little bit of affection seeking and a little bit of quiet connection. In rescue, age and breed are offered as educated observations, given she is a rescue we cannot know with 100% certainty. She sure is cute though and her size only adds to that! We introduced Daisy to new dogs and we could see she is a very playful girl who is still learning her doggie manners but she is young so this is expected. Her playful energy is not suited for every dog because it has puppy pushiness to it. Daisy could live with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. An ideal pairing would be a dog that is confident, playful, and can offer the occasional “teachable-moment” if her puppy pushiness needs it. In terms of living with cats, she does show some interest in them but proved to be mostly avoidant. With a dog-savvy cat, she could do well, but we anticipate her playful side may think about a game of chase but she will learn that isn’t how to make a feline-friend. Thanks to her age and eagerness to please Daisy is going to very receptive to training. Polishing up her leash skills for walks and adventures along with mastering basic commands will be enjoyable and make you proud of how attentive she is. She listens well and responds beautifully to corrections from her people. Daisy is an incredible dog with an amazing sparkle in her eye and has so much amazing potential. Who is this gorgeous fluffball, you ask?? Meet Mike Wazowski! This adorable fluffy guy is 21 pounds— tiny!! He’s approx 1 year old and has the most unique look— like a miniature Border Collie mixed with some sort of small breed— we see a glimpse of possible Dachshund, but in rescue it's always a guess! This will make for a fun DNA reveal partyyy!! This dog is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this dog needs you! If you choose a dog from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Of course you will see his one perfect eye and his other good-but-less-than-perfect eye, but it doesn't seem to slow this happy fellow down in the slightest. In fact, our Vet Techs think that Mike still has some vision out of his left eye, so it shows just how resilient and adaptable this impressive fluffy fellow truly is. And he's not just resilient - this gorgeous little guy is thriving! Mike is living his best doggo life, and enjoying it to the fullest. You can tell because he always seems to be wearing a joyful happy smile (with his tongue hanging out) and wagging his fluffy tail. Mike loves to meet new people and has little to no stranger danger - everyone has the potential to be his best buddy, lol. He is great around other dogs, respectfully approaching them to sniff and backing away quickly and redirecting if they show any aversion. Mike certainly seems highly attuned to everyone and everything around him - he's such an impressive little guy! Of course, we have to mention how incredibly soft and snuggly Mike is. You will find yourself petting and snuggling him whenever possible, and Mike is surely ok with all the love and affection you have to give him! He is gentle when taking treats and quick to offer kisses in return for your attention. This cutie is Rosalie. She is currently WEIGHT, 12 weeks old, and we think they may be a Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies.
