Snoop Dogg in the house! Hi, my name is Snoop and I would love to add a little D-O-Double G to your family! I am super handsome (have you seen my markings and shiny coat?!), so loving, and wonderful with other dogs and even young kiddos. My foster family says I am the PERFECT schmedium size doggo at 35 pounds. We are still working on that leash walking thing, but practice makes perfect! I love my crate, it is truly my safe space and I go to it without problems. I love chew toys and bones, the more the better! Need a cuddle buddy? I am a lazy boy who loves to cuddle and lounge, but when the time is right I've got some impressive zoomies, too! Get this, when I'm happy, which is nearly all of the time at my foster home, I wag not just my tail but my whole body! I just can't help it! I would love to join your family and would love to meet you soon!

Story
Meet Xavier: Your New Best Friend! Xavier is a delightful mixed breed with a one-of-a-kind pedigree: a blend of husky, chihuahua, dachshund, and schnauzer (confirmed by a Wisdom Panel test!). At 4-5 years old and weighing just 27 pounds, Xavier is the perfect mix of manageable size and big personality. Here are some highlights about this special boy: • Potty trained and reliable, holding it up to 12 hours overnight. • An absolute angel with your belongings—he never chews on people things. • Hard of hearing or deaf, but this doesn’t hold him back. It’s just part of who he is! • A silent companion—Xavier doesn’t bark, making him great for quiet households. • Cat-friendly (he’s indifferent to feline friends) and fantastic with other dogs. • Gentle with older kids and likely great with younger ones, too, though he hasn’t had much experience. • Zero genetic conditions (via Wisdom Panel test) Xavier has had a tough start in life, transitioning from a homeless camp and life as a stray to the loving care of Renegade Paws Rescue. With his resilience and sweet nature, he’s ready to thrive in his forever home. Xavier takes a daily anxiety medication, which has worked wonders for him. He is a happy, affectionate boy who adores: • Cuddling and giving kisses • Receiving scritches behind his ears • Sleeping in the bed and being near his people • Walks at a leisurely pace to sniff everything in sight • Chilling out at home with his favorite humans • Exploring a fenced yard Low-energy and easygoing, Xavier is the ideal companion for someone seeking a loving, loyal friend with a low-maintenance lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a solo sidekick or a family dog, Xavier is ready to fill your home with love. Could you be Xavier’s perfect match? Submit an application today to meet this wonderful boy!

Story
He is on vetmedin for his CHF, gabapentin and dasuquin for arthritis pain and a cough medicine for his chronic bronchitis. Papaw is doing really well on this medication regimen! He is crate trained and `sits pretty` when waiting for breakfast and dinner. He still has some accidents if you don`t stick to a schedule (forgot to let him out one evening after dinner and he peed on the floor). I don`t leave him in his crate longer than 4-5 hours at a time, except overnight. He`s only had one accident in his crate. He gets really excited about treats, so watch your fingers! He gets very nervous in unfamiliar conditions, so he doesn’t really like walks/being on a leash. He is snuggly and the absolute best couch potato. He is mostly blind and deaf. Clapping loudly gets his attention and then I usually wave my hand ant eye level and then squat down so he can find me. I love him so much. We think Papaw is between 12-13 years old. We think he’s a min pin mix of some sort, I really think he has some terrier in there somewhere because of how bouncy he is. He really is the best little man. He is crate trained and mostly house trained, though I keep him on a pretty regular schedule to prevent accidents in the house. He does fine in the crate over night, but I make sure to come home at lunch to let him out in the middle of the day so I don’t come home to an accident. He is elderly and has a small bladder. Papaw was an owner surrender to animal control and I got him as a foster around the end of May, early June 2023. He had a horrible upper respiratory infection and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He is on a medication that I crush up in his food twice a day. He also had 11 or 12 teeth pulled, so I soak his dry food in water before he eats it. He is the absolute sweetest little cuddle bug and he’s so appreciative of the good life. He has some quirks that I’m happy to share when/if you meet him. He would do best in a home with another dog, as my dog helps guide him around the house/yard. He’s not great on a leash, since he doesn’t see well and gets freaked out, but is perfectly happy in the backyard. He is mostly a couch potato. He is happiest with his head on your chest, relaxing.
