Story
I'm 4yr old Miniature Pincher and I embody my breed characteristics with my big personality. I will make you laugh with my deer like prance and spontaneous dancing and hopping when I'm happy. I will always let you know what's on my mind and I have a great sense of time. I know when it's time for breakfast and dinner but I enjoy a slow morning and I will stay quiet in my crate for an hour before breakfast. I need to be burrowed under a blanket or in your sweatshirt a lot of the day. I am a fearless little guy and I do not see my size slow me down. I am athletic and robust, so I run fast and rarely get hurt. I am loving, intelligent, charismatic, easy going, but anxious around large dogs and small children. I do not like medium to large sized dogs but I do like small ones, especially if they are even smaller than me. I might do best with no cats. I do not feel comfortable around children or babies. My ideal forever home is a home with no small children or other dogs unless they are a small dog like me. I'd love an owner(s) who is not gone a lot and able to walk me once or twice a day for just 15-30 minutes. Also someone who loves to cuddle with me. I would love to go on errands so I can people watch and curl up in my human's sweatshirt. I will need someone who will be patient with my barking (I am doing well with training so I am getting better). We can continue to train! My adoption fee includes a training program / class specific to my needs.

Story
Meet Teddy – A Playful Pup with a Unique LookTeddy is a 7-month-old Miniature Pinscher weighing 16 pounds, and he’s blossoming into a wonderful companion. When he first arrived, he was shy and wary of people, but during his time at the rescue, he has made incredible progress. Teddy now comes up for pets, and his favorite thing in the world is getting scratches on his neck. He’s also learned to take treats gently from your hand, showing just how far he’s come. This playful and happy pup adores other dogs and feels more confident when he’s around his canine friends. While he thrives in their company, he is also very sweet and affectionate on his own. Since he’s still a puppy, Teddy will need continued training and socialization in his new home to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog.Beyond his loving personality, Teddy has the most adorable underbite, unique coloring, and strikingly light eyes that make him truly one of a kind. If you`re looking for a puppy with a gentle heart and a playful spirit, Teddy is ready to bring love and joy into your home. Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website.

Story
Bentley is 8 years old. He joined our family in October of 2016 when he was a couple weeks old, when we were stationed in Texas. He loves to run and any other agile and active activities. Despite best efforts, Bentley does not get along with our 2 year old. He has not been a fan since we brought him home from the hospital, despite our other dog’s excitement. Bentley has a high prey drive. He hunts small animals (birds, squirrels.. etc) in the backyard. We do not want to rehome Bentley but he has proven a danger to our toddler on multiple occasions. We want a home for him that he can run, play, cuddle, get all the pets he wants and most of all love and companionship.
