Story
Meet Bella! Bella loves to take long walks with her humans, she use to live with other dogs but now is stressed out by them. She tends to be a little dog selective, and it will depend on the other dog, if she is going to like them or not. She might enjoy dog friends, but maybe not sharing her home with them. She is very affectionate with her people and would love to show you how much she enjoys a forever home and family. She can be a bit leary of smaller children, and is not sure how to act appropriately around them. It is best she is in a home without small children. Bella is great on a leash and enjoys playing with cats, although she may not realize if she's being too rough. We recommend that she goes to a home with no cats or only cats who are comfortable around dogs and understand her playful nature. Come meet Bella, today!

Story
**Meet Betty: Your Adventure-Seeking Companion!** Betty is a lovable 4-year-old black lab. She’s on the hunt for her forever home, ideally in a peaceful rural setting or nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard.  This adventurous girl thrives outdoors. Whether camping under the stars, hiking scenic trails, or exploring the backcountry, Betty is always ready for the next adventure. She even has a flair for skijoring, which showcases her playful spirit and love for fun! Currently living with kids, Betty is gentle and playful but gets a little too excited at times and can’t resist jumping for joy. Her perfect match would be someone who works from home or has another energetic dog, as she loves having companionship to entertain her. While Betty has a sweet demeanor, she struggles with anxiety and would do best in a home that can accommodate her needs. She’s much happier in a tranquil rural setting where she can relax and enjoy her surroundings and where there is limited outside foot traffic.  Betty struggles on a leash in noisier environments and requires a home with a fenced-in yard. Betty might be the perfect fit if you’re seeking a loyal partner for outdoor escapades and cozy nights at home! Meet her and discover the joy she can bring to your life.January 6, 2025, 5:07 pm

Story
Dahlia came from a home that had a at home daycare. She absolutely loves kids and is overly social (still working on it.) She knows Sit, Stay, Lay, Paw, wait, bark, and quiet (which is just moving her mouth like she is barking with no sound.) and we are working on heal. We are also working on fence boundaries. For example if a gate is left open to stay in the yard and not walk away. She has met a variety of animals. From ducks to chickens, dogs, cats, frogs and lizards. If it is living she wants it to be her friend. She found out the hard way Bees don’t want to be her friend. She is part cat. If there is a ray of sunshine she is lying in it. She loves her blankets and sweatshirts. But most of all she loves cuddling.

Story
Rowena is a sweet and loving dog! We adopted her from a local rescue shelter when she was six months old. She is now three but still very puppy. She has basic training, is house trained, is a great running partner, and a super snuggler. She is good with dogs her size or bigger but has bitten smaller dogs. She would do best as the only animal in the house. She has shown aggressive tendencies towards kiddos on two occasions (snarl, bare teeth) but never done anything physical. She would benefit from older kiddos in the home. Rowena has so much potential to be the best pup! We just don't believe that we are the right fit for her anymore with our resident dog and newest child. As such, we are searching for an amazing new family that she will thrive in and be loved. *We have worked with Canine Companion Consulting in Fort Collins. Rowena comes with recommendations from them for next steps to help her gain her confidence and reduce potential aggression.
