Introducing Bruce, the resilient pup with a heart full of hope! At 2 1/2 years young, this handsome boy is on a quest to find his perfect match - a patient and understanding owner who will cherish him forever. Though his previous adoption didn't work out, Bruce hasn't lost his spirit. With the help of a dedicated trainer, he's been making remarkable progress and is ready to show the world his playful side. While Bruce prefers to be the only pet in the house, he is playful with some of our other dogs. Bruce also probably isn't suited for a home with young children but he's all in for a lifetime of peanut butter treats and fun adventures with his new best friend. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion to share your heart and home, Bruce is waiting with a wagging tail and open arms, eager to start is happily ever after!

Story
Koda/Varley came to Pet Search in February 2020 as a 12 week old puppy from St Thomas. He was quickly adopted, but then returned to pet search 6 months later. He was a "different pup... a little apprehensive of men. The foster family worked with Koda on trusting men and he was adopted again in May 2021. Koda was returned to Pet Search again because of issues with men and we have been working diligently with training to get him past this hurdle. Koda is 2.5 years old (birthdate 11/1/19) and can be very loving. He loves women and is very responsive to them, but needs a little time to warm up to a man that is soft spoken and will be patient. Koda is better with female dogs that are passive and a little smaller than him and older children. He is housebroken but will have an accident in his crate sometimes. With patience and understanding, Koda will make a great dog for a single woman or a Couple/family with a quieter lifestyle. Applications can he found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog or petsearchpa.org KL#03301 Washington PA 15301

Story
Meet, stunning Sandy is a 6.5 year old lab/bully mix searching for her forever family. This affectionate beauty found herself surrendered to a county pound in rural WV. Her past may be a mystery, yet we do know the right family will help Sandy reach her full potential, and never let her down again. While in foster, she’s been very loving and is a smart girl that is a quick study. An ideal home for Sandy would include an active family with a fenced yard, and no small animals or dominant female dogs. She plays very well with male dogs that are closer to her size. Sandy is spayed, current on vaccines/monthly flea prevention, microchipped, HW & Lyme’s negative. Applications for Sandy can be found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog or www.petsearchpa.org.
