Story
*Please call ahead to set up a meet and greet* Miller is a 4-year-old yellow Lab and pit bull mix with a big personality and even bigger dance moves — we call him Tippy Tap because he does the happiest little dance when he gets excited! He’s goofy, strong, and full of energy. While Miller didn’t get along with the other dogs in his previous home, he may do well with a dog who matched his playful vibe — so a meet and greet could be a great idea if you’ve got the right pup. He has shown food aggression with other dogs, but never with people. Miller is currently learning boundaries. When toys are involved, he can get a little rude — not out of aggression, but out of sheer enthusiasm. During his evaluation, we saw no signs of aggression; he’s just a big, silly boy who needs support in learning manners. He’s the kind of dog who barrels into you for love and doesn’t quite realize how big he is. He walks best on a prong collar due to his strength, and he’ll thrive with someone who can give him structure, guidance, and plenty of fun. Miller is a joyful, affectionate guy who just needs the right match to help him shine.

Story
Max is a 1-year-old yellow Lab who came to us as a stray. When he arrived, he was very skinny and covered in sores—but through it all, he remained incredibly sweet. Max has a playful personality and will throw his little body around when he’s excited, then melt into cuddles once he calms down. He’s shown some dog selectivity, which may just be due to the shelter environment, so a meet-and-greet is a must. We don’t have history on cats or kids, but Max seems curious and not aggressive. This resilient boy is ready for a loving home where he can thrive and finally get the care he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, Max could be the perfect fit!

Story
Lola is a 6 month old exuberant girl. She is full of love and excitement. Lola enjoys car rides and going to the dog park. She is a puppy and is still learning her manners. As she has gotten bigger, it has caused problems with my older dog who is now much smaller than Lola is. Lola may do best in a home where she is the only dog, although there has never been an issue with her while at a dog park or while visiting friend's dogs. Lola enjoys children but would need to be in a home with older children as she is clumsy and energetic and jumps a lot.
