Toby was rescued by a woman (who asked me to watch him for one month)He had lived at the pound for a year.He was in a small cage all that time and gained a lot of weight.I have had him about three months. He has lost a lot of weight and is now a happy playful sweet yellow labhe is probably 6 plus years old.He is obsessed with his ball, he can be seen, pushing the ball with his nose around the play area for hours. Now that he feels better he gets bored easily and the ball has been a life line for him.Very sweet. Toby can be a little food aggressive with other dogs.

Story
Allow me to introduce you to the one and only Belen! This furry little angel is not just your average rescue dog, oh no! She is the ultimate social butterfly, fluttering around with the grace of a delicate butterfly. Her days are filled with an insatiable desire to play and hang out with her foster sisters, making her the life of the party. And let me tell you, she's not just a dog lover, but a cat lover too! Belen's journey began on a gloomy, rainy day in the streets of Houston. She was lost and alone, but fate had a different plan for her. Once she found her way to safety, it didn't take long for her to decompress and reveal her true colors. Her beautiful, loving personality shone through like a ray of sunshine. This little superstar is definitely a team player and thrives in a home with another furry friend by her side. She's got all the manners down - housebroken, leash and crate trained like a pro! It's like she's been taking lessons from the best canine instructors out there. Now, here's the exciting part! We have special transports leaving Houston every two weeks, heading towards the picturesque Pacific Northwest with a delightful pit stop in Bellingham, Washington . This means our lovely Canadian residents can make the trip and pick up Belen, giving her the forever home she deserves. How amazing is that? If you're interested in learning more about Belen or want to submit an adoption application, fear not! Simply visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org . We've got all the information you need right at your fingertips. So don't keep this precious gem waiting, take a leap of faith and give Belen the loving home she's been dreaming of! received.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts. Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. ##1952068##

Story
REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER:Pardi is an inside/outside dog that is crate trained and house trained. She needs some work walking gently on the leash, but knows the sit, down and off commands. When she gets excited, she can get jumpy and would do best in a home with teen aged, dog-savvy children. She has a herding drive and will herd smaller children. She has a high energy level and enjoys playing fetch. She lived with another dog and for the most part, they got along. She did not do well with the cat. She loves treats, hiking and playing fetch on the stairs. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Pardi is a nice girl! She’s great at meeting new people. She would make a wonderful companion for any active person or family with older children. Weighs 52 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
Meet Spud! Spud is a super sweet goofy 5 month old puppy. His mom was a lab mix and we don't know who dad is. Spud has some big paws to grow into so he will be a big dog. He is smart and eager to please. He walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He is doing great at housetraining and can use a doggy door. He knows sit, leave it, touch, and is working on place. He is good with dogs big and small; he wants to play with cats and sometimes chases them, but also has learned that the murder mittens mean business. He visited a farm and thinks the really big dogs (horses) are a little intimidating. Spud would do best in a home with no chickens. Because of his size and puppy energy he may be a little too much for very young children. Reach out if you wish to meet this goofy boy, Spud!!!!Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719
