He is a medium size dog. Emerson is a sweet boy who loves attention and being pet. He gets along great with his dog friends and is learning the leash. When we first got him, he had never been on a leash, so he is rather cautious and shy but doing better everyday. He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations and has no known medical issues.Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip (including registration), and more.

She can be a little nervous around new people and unfamiliar places, but with time and trust, she’ll show you just how much love she has to give. Janis is a mellow, easygoing companion who is very treat and food motivated. She also walks beautifully on a leash, staying close by your side and looking to you for reassurance. Janis is the definition of Velcro dog. Wherever you go, she also will go. Janis does great in a home with other animals, although she would probably prefer to be the only dog getting your undivided attention. But, if she must share, she is tolerant of other dogs. Janis is a quiet girl who hasn’t barked once in her foster home, though she has been known to let out a little howl when she’s feeling unsure or dreaming. She’s not a fan of enclosed spaces but does wonderfully with free roam of the house and is trustworthy without being destructive. Janis is fully potty trained and dog door trained. Story
Tie is an incredible dog that is in need of a loving owner and/or family. I have raised him since he was a puppy, is crate trained, has good leash manners and basic commands (sit, down, stay, roll over, and recall in an enclosed area). He’s a gentleman at dog parks and is friendly with all humans and children. We recommend no children under 5, given his size and general energy. Tie is a total sweetheart and would do best in a home with plenty of space and a fully fenced-yard (or someone with a very active lifestyle for many daily walks/runs). He’s excellent with my 5-year-old and connects easily with new humans (he loves cuddles and as much play time as you can give him.) He would also do best with a family who can walk him or take him to dog-parks frequently; he will be as active as you are (for hikers, campers, etc.). He is used to being crated when I’m working and out of the house. I’ll provide all of his bedding, crate, leash/collar/harness, toys, current food and treats.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet your best buddy, me! I'm Perigee and I'm close to 2 years old and weigh around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. I’m fully grown  and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing, cuddling or laying about the house!   My foster mom says my best quality is how calm and sweet I am with people and kids. I live with two kids at the moment, one of which gives me lots of hugs and throws my favorite squeaky toy for me. I'm friendly to everyone and not timid. I like other dogs and love to play. I also live with a cat and am on my best behavior with him.    I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive, walk well on my harness, and do well in most environments. I'm curious about the world and love seeing new things. I’m also a pro at car rides and sit politely while watching the world go by. I love being with you wherever you are and just want to be your buddy. If you do need to leave me at home I'm fine in my crate until you come back.   I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am on the lookout for any spare food but can be content with my favorite toys instead.  I love small tuffed toys that squeak and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster thinks I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy, and I come with my chair and other supplies.    Do you think you could be the buddy I've been waiting for? I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded!
