Tie is an incredible dog that is in need of a loving owner and/or family. I have raised him since he was a puppy, is crate trained, has good leash manners and basic commands (sit, down, stay, roll over, and recall in an enclosed area). He’s a gentleman at dog parks and is friendly with all humans and children. We recommend no children under 5, given his size and general energy. Tie is a total sweetheart and would do best in a home with plenty of space and a fully fenced-yard (or someone with a very active lifestyle for many daily walks/runs). He’s excellent with my 5-year-old and connects easily with new humans (he loves cuddles and as much play time as you can give him.) He would also do best with a family who can walk him or take him to dog-parks frequently; he will be as active as you are (for hikers, campers, etc.). He is used to being crated when I’m working and out of the house. I’ll provide all of his bedding, crate, leash/collar/harness, toys, current food and treats.

I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven! I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return. I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come! As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. Do you like to play with your dog, but also like when they entertain themselves? Are you looking for a dog with a big personality? That’s me!! I’m Perigee, I’m just over 1 year old and weigh in around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. But I’m fully grown now and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing or laying about the house! My foster mom calls me a cat-dog because I’m really not big on cuddling, I like to bat balls around the house, and I love a good cozy sleeping spot! Although being part cat doesn’t make me the best with other cats, but I can live with them if the cat is dog smart. I'm a bit of a drama queen and make all sorts of grumbles, sighs and other silly noises to let you know how I feel about things. I do bark sometimes as well, but not a ton. I'm silly and goofy sometimes, and just a fun guy to know. I’m good with people and love to try and play with other dogs. I’m especially good with kids, even little kids, as I’m gentle and don’t mind their antics. Ironically though, I don’t like puppies, they make me grumpy. I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive and do well in most environments. I’m also a pro at car rides! I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am constantly on the lookout for any spare food though. I love stuffed toys and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster things I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything! What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog. I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help! I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy! I’m a 1-2 yr old lab mixed with something that has a curly tail and lots of energy. I am full grown at about 60 lbs. I currently live with 4 other dogs of all sizes and 2 cats. I’m really curious about the cats and they like to hiss at me and then I bark at them, it’s so much fun! But foster mom hates it for some reason so with the help of the dreaded squirt bottle I’m learning to leave them alone. I love to play, snuggle, and play some more. I give full on hugs, and I have the best puppy dog eyes around. I would love a home with another dog that loves to play and humans that are willing to train me, I’m still basically a puppy after all. Older kids are probably best since I’m still kind of rambunctious. I’m super smart and love to make my humans happy. After I’m tired out from some good exercise and/or play session, I love to cuddle up to you. I will happily snuggle all night in bed with you, but I’m also crate trained and will sleep on a dog bed too if that’s your thing.
