Story
My daughter's dog had a litter of 14 puppies. She was struggling trying to find a home for all of them so my husband and I decided to take keep one. We took the smallest of the 14 in hopes he would stay small. We live in an apartment so we knew the dog would not have a lot of space. Iggy is bigger than were expecting him to get and he needs room to run. He is smart and very energetic. Our hope is to find someone who will love him and give him a forever home.

Story
Dozer is a red fox lab. Just turned 1 in Aug 2024. ACK registered and neutered. He is loving and gentle. He loves to play and be active. Will play fetch for hours. Needs to be with a family that will take the time to walk and play with to get his energy out in a healthy manner. My 3 kids roll around on him and he has never bitten or growled. He can be trained for duck hunting as both his parents have been hunting. Both parents are under 65 lbs, so he is a medium sized lab. He is house and kennel trained. He is playful with other dogs, kids and adults. We don't have cats, but he will chase a laser or reflections around on the ground like a cat! He has a lot of energy and could still use some training but if you want to throw the ball, he is your retriever!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi new friends, Amory here!     I'm a nine-year-old lab/pit mix. I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven!    I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return.     I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come!    As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. If you could give a sweet senior girl a nice, cozy place to retire, a few toys and bones, and so much love, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do you like dogs, but also enjoy personal space? Do you like to play with your dog, but also like when they entertain themselves? Are you looking for a dog with a big personality? That’s me!!    I’m  Perigee, I’m just over 1 year old and weigh in around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. But I’m fully grown now and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing or laying about the house!   My foster mom calls me a cat-dog because I’m really not big on cuddling, I like to bat balls around the house, and I love a good cozy sleeping spot! Although being part cat doesn’t make me the best with other cats, but I can live with them if the cat is dog smart. I'm a bit of a drama queen and make all sorts of grumbles, sighs and other silly noises to let you know how I feel about things. I do bark sometimes as well, but not a ton. I'm silly and goofy sometimes, and just a fun guy to know.   I’m good with people and love to try and play with other dogs. I’m especially good with kids, even little kids, as I’m gentle and don’t mind their antics. Ironically though, I don’t like puppies, they make me grumpy. I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive and do well in most environments. I’m also a pro at car rides!    I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am constantly on the lookout for any spare food though.  I love stuffed toys and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster things I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy! See my videos for what it looks like to prep my food and meds.    Do you think you could be the family I've been waiting for? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Rae and I’m a 3 year old "lab mix". I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I'll keep you warm at night and make sure you're never lonely <3   If you think you could be the family for me, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! Hi there! My name’s Hermann and guess what I love? Everything!! Yeah I’m really happy boy. I’m a 1-2 yr old lab mixed with something that has a curly tail and lots of energy. I am full grown at about 60 lbs. I currently live with 4 other dogs of all sizes and 2 cats. I’m really curious about the cats and they like to hiss at me and then I bark at them, it’s so much fun! But foster mom hates it for some reason so with the help of the dreaded squirt bottle I’m learning to leave them alone.  I love to play, snuggle, and play some more. I give full on hugs, and I have the best puppy dog eyes around. I would love a home with another dog that loves to play and humans that are willing to train me, I’m still basically a puppy after all. Older kids are probably best since I’m still kind of rambunctious. I’m super smart and love to make my humans happy.  After I’m tired out from some good exercise and/or play session, I love to cuddle up to you. I will happily snuggle all night in bed with you, but I’m also crate trained and will sleep on a dog bed too if that’s your thing.  Like I said before, I love everything, especially people   If you think I might be your boy, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2024, 4:36 pm
