**Fostered in Tacoma, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Kawasaki! 🐾 Meet Kawasaki, a handsome boy who will fill your life with joy and excitement! Making his way to you, this cute Lab mix pup is on track to be a large companion, potentially reaching over 80 lbs as he grows into his paws—though, as with all things in rescue, that's just an educated guess! Kawasaki is doing wonderfully in his current foster home, where he's made friends with a pack of three dogs. He's crate-trained and house trained. He's even started to communicate when he needs to go outside by sitting at the door and whining, showing just how smart he is by also mastering bell training. Playful, sweet, and endlessly curious, Kawasaki is sure to bring you lots of joy. His treat motivation makes continued training a breeze. He's currently living with two teenage boys and fits right in, acting like just one of the guys. Plus, he's excellent in the car, making him the ideal companion for errand runs and road trips. Since Kawasaki is still a young pup, he needs a family ready to commit to his training and socialization. Adoptive families should be ready to help him perfect his leash skills, making him a fantastic partner for neighborhood walks and scenic hikes. Get ready for a life filled with affection, as Kawasaki will repay your love and dedication with lots of kisses and loyal companionship. Kawasaki might be your perfect match if you're looking for a big hunk of love to add to your family! 🐶❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/656e15bedf9fe6a8b503a29f Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
When I think of a dog named Jayce Ace, I immediately start thinking that it must be the name of a really cool dog and that cannot be more accurate. Jayce makes you smile and laugh by even just sitting there minding his own business. He has these beautiful human-like eyes that make his expressions seem like you know exactly what he is thinking. Most of the time he is either looking very unimpressed or he’s making the best silly faces at you. Jayce is more than just good looks though. His foster mom says one of his best qualities is how devoted to his people. He is loyal, smart, loves to cuddle, plays fetch, and the list goes on. People adopt a dog for a lot of reasons, one of the main reasons I believe is people are looking for a loyal companion. That being said, I believe we have found your forever best friend because Jayce embodies loyalty! Watch his video and you'll find yourself loving him just as much if not more than we do. Fall in Love with Jayce here: https://youtu.be/4RMpH5LIZd8?si=SGEeUsdE9uOVng99 We think Jayce is a Labrador, Pittie mix, but he is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. He currently tips the scales at a soft and snuggly 80 pounds, fully grown at an estimated 3 years old. Jayce is a people-lover to his core, but it can take him a moment or two to warm up to new people and that's OKAY! He’s easily won over with Pupperoni, his favorite snack, and gentle soft voices. Once he’s warmed up to you, all of the snuggles and loyalty that we bragged about in the beginning will start and then Jayce will have your heart for the rest of time if he doesn't already. Jayce is a dog that could truly fit into your lifestyle, and feel like a member of the family. He has a wonderfully balanced energy that allows him to be content calmly hanging out while you work from home, hang out with friends, or really just engage in any activity that does not directly involve him. He is a very versatile handsome dude. Jayce can be very lively and playful at times but also a calm cuddle bug that just wants to lay on the couch with you watching movies all day. He loves being near his people and his foster parents occasionally let him sleep in bed with them. He gets away with it due to those big puppy dog eyes that he has. On the nights that he does get to sleep with them, he likes to snuggle right up with you, rest his head on your pillow or body and he'll look up at you until he falls asleep. Jayce truly believes he was made to be someone's weighted blanket. He believes he's a lap dog and that his snuggles are the best thing since sliced bread. If we are being honest, they are! Jayce loves to be outdoors as well. If you find yourself in the garage tinkering often, Jayce would love to watch you work. If you’re a hiker, a morning-trail-walker, or a frequent park-goer, he would love to join you. He loves water too, he’s a big fan of the doggy pool! An awesome fun fact about Jayce is that fireworks don’t faze him! His foster dad reported 0 issues anytime fireworks have been going off. Jayce is an easy to love dog. He has great leash skills, great house manners, his foster reports that he’s potty trained, he knows some basic commands. He loves water, friends, car rides, toys, and belly rubs. He’s incredibly dog friendly and gets along with dogs of all personality types and sizes! He is currently fostered with a Germain Shorthair Pointer and a small terrier mix. He is best friends with both of them but he loves his smaller foster dog sibling. His foster says they love playing with each other despite the size difference. Jayce is your small dog's best friend. We recommend Jayce for a cat-free, child-free home. He would love to live with empty-nesters, homebodies or adventurers, work from homers- someone that will spend lots of quality belly-rub time with him. Jayce humbly requests that you stock up on Pupperoni, and dog toys in anticipation of his arrival! This sweet boy is ready for forever love, and excited to meet you. We are willing to test Jayce with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. His adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below, would be more than happy to answer any specific questions you may have about Jayce. Alayna, a director at 3LP, has kindly placed her phone number at the below as well, if you would like to chat over the phone! Story
Neo is a snuggly goofball looking for his forever home. We think Neo would make a wonderful family dog, with his half-couch-potato, half-zoomie-machine personality. Here at the rescue, Neo is a fan favorite, our behavior team adores him for his people-focused personality and his sweetness toward the other dogs. We believe Neo to be half pittie, half lab, and he’s the best of both worlds! Neo is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Neo currently weighs in at a lap-sized 64 pounds, and we estimate his age to be around 3 years old. Neo shows his age in his frosted face, but otherwise, you could never tell! This boy is happy, bouncy, and so loving! When we introduced him to other dogs he showed us his playful side, running around with a big ol’ smile on his face. Watch Neo here: https://youtu.be/PC_Tgwzlp28 My favorite thing was how easily he calmed down as the other dogs were settling in to smell around and take a break. Whenever he wasn’t playing, Im sure you can guess where he was, with the people, seeking out and sharing love. Neo is a vocal boy, who will carry on a conversation, talking to you. It’s not barking, but vocalizations. Neo is a complete goofball, capable of making anyone laugh. He rolls around and makes bug eyes at you, sticks his nose on the side of the couch to say hi, and has a never ending rotation of silly faces. He’s great with kids, and has spent time with kids as young as six. See him interact with kids for yourself in his video. Neo’s ideal home would have a yard for smelling-about and taking sunbaths in. A mellow friend, who knows a little play should always lead to a lot of rest, would be ideal. He is also fulfilled by his affection for people, so being an only dog sounds like the good life too! The one no-go for Neo is kitties. Not everyone is a cat-person and that is okay! New was so interested in out house cat Tom that we are sure he would try to start a fun game of chase and that isn’t fun for anyone, though Neo might disagree. Neo is a loving and loyal companion to all looking for his fur-ever family. If you are in search of a classic good-boy, you have found him! If you have any questions about Neo or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
Meet Cagney, a gentle giant with a heart full of love. At nearly three years old, she is believed to be an Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix, though with rescue, it’s always a guess. Weighing just under 90 pounds, Cagney may be a big girl, but she is incredibly gentle and very aware of her size. Her beautiful brindle coat is as striking as her kind and balanced personality. Since arriving at the rescue from her foster home, Cagney has quickly become a favorite among staff. She’s a moderate-energy girl who enjoys playtime as much as she loves cuddling up with her people. Her love for humans is boundless, and while she may take a little time to decompress in a new home, once she does, she is loyal to the bone. Cagney’s stable and calm nature makes her an excellent companion to other dogs, so much so that she now helps the rescue assess new dogs being brought into the program. She gets along with everyone and is even cat friendly. While she likes kids, she does best with those aged eight and older, as younger children moving quickly can overwhelm her. That said, she is gentle around little ones who are calm and quiet. This amazing dog has been waiting far too long for her perfect family. Staff can’t stop raving about how sweet and balanced she is, and it’s hard to understand why she hasn’t found her match yet. Cagney would make a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. With her calm demeanor, affectionate personality, and loving nature, she’s ready to settle into her forever home and bring her family endless joy. This infectiously happy guy is named Mack! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just under two years old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack currently weighs in at a highly huggable 55 pounds. Fall in love with Mack here: https://youtu.be/58WAwcmbLjI?si=wG3cbqwU87-1g1u4 Mack is great with kids, and kids are great with Mack! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack is small dog friendly, too. Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another rambunctious player, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. Mack’s energy level generally can be described as medium to high energy, he has an exuberance for life and a natural optimism that will fill even your gloomiest days with laughter and excitement. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he’s very food motivated. He will be an enjoyable and rewarding dog to train further! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly. He had great house manners too! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. Mack is a fun-loving guy, but he knows when to chill too. He absolutely loves a good couch snuggle, and he soaks up attention with so much gratitude. This sweet boy is ready to adore, and be adored by you. Mack’s ideal home has a backyard for him to zoom in, maybe another doggy sibling or two, and dog savvy kids, that will know how to play with his big, goofy pittie energy. Mack does request that we not force him to live with any kitties! We think Mack would make an excellent family dog, but we do recommend kids ten and up for him. We are willing to test Mack with anything you may need to ensure that he is a perfect fit for your family, home and life. We can make most anything happen. Just let us know! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
