Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi new friends, Amory here!     I'm a nine-year-old lab/pit mix. I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven!    I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return.     I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come!    As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. If you could give a sweet senior girl a nice, cozy place to retire, a few toys and bones, and so much love, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do you like dogs, but also enjoy personal space? Do you like to play with your dog, but also like when they entertain themselves? Are you looking for a dog with a big personality? That’s me!!    I’m  Perigee, I’m just over 1 year old and weigh in around 40 lbs. I have beautiful brindle coloring and am listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. But I’m fully grown now and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling, playing or laying about the house!   My foster mom calls me a cat-dog because I’m really not big on cuddling, I like to bat balls around the house, and I love a good cozy sleeping spot! Although being part cat doesn’t make me the best with other cats, but I can live with them if the cat is dog smart. I'm a bit of a drama queen and make all sorts of grumbles, sighs and other silly noises to let you know how I feel about things. I do bark sometimes as well, but not a ton. I'm silly and goofy sometimes, and just a fun guy to know.   I’m good with people and love to try and play with other dogs. I’m especially good with kids, even little kids, as I’m gentle and don’t mind their antics. Ironically though, I don’t like puppies, they make me grumpy. I’m fantastic at outings as I’m not reactive and do well in most environments. I’m also a pro at car rides!    I’m 100% great in the house, never have any accidents. I am constantly on the lookout for any spare food though.  I love stuffed toys and playing fetch. I sleep well in my crate at night and while you are away. My foster things I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate. The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy! See my videos for what it looks like to prep my food and meds.    Do you think you could be the family I've been waiting for? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Rae and I’m a 3 year old "lab mix". I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I'll keep you warm at night and make sure you're never lonely <3   If you think you could be the family for me, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! Hi there! My name’s Hermann and guess what I love? Everything!! Yeah I’m really happy boy. I’m a 1-2 yr old lab mixed with something that has a curly tail and lots of energy. I am full grown at about 60 lbs. I currently live with 4 other dogs of all sizes and 2 cats. I’m really curious about the cats and they like to hiss at me and then I bark at them, it’s so much fun! But foster mom hates it for some reason so with the help of the dreaded squirt bottle I’m learning to leave them alone.  I love to play, snuggle, and play some more. I give full on hugs, and I have the best puppy dog eyes around. I would love a home with another dog that loves to play and humans that are willing to train me, I’m still basically a puppy after all. Older kids are probably best since I’m still kind of rambunctious. I’m super smart and love to make my humans happy.  After I’m tired out from some good exercise and/or play session, I love to cuddle up to you. I will happily snuggle all night in bed with you, but I’m also crate trained and will sleep on a dog bed too if that’s your thing.  Like I said before, I love everything, especially people   If you think I might be your boy, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2024, 4:36 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, we are Hershee & Nestli, two sweet sweet brothers! We are 3 and a half month old nuetered lab mixes at about 7 lbs. Hershee is dark chocolate and Nestli is white with caramel spots  My foster mom says we are coming out of our shells in a big way. We came from a shelter and are learning all the new things about home living. We love exploring new sites and sounds. Our goals in life are playing, snuggling, and sleeping. We have some puppy energy, but can also calm down for naps and bedtime.  We will get to approximately 20-25 lbs Living in a home with another dog would be great, but is not required. We catch on very fast to routine and are ok if it varies as well. We are very easy going and want nothing more than to be your friend. We live with my fosters Great Dane and Mixed puppy, a kiddo, and 2 older cats that are bigger than us!!. We are still a bit puppy nippy so having some toys and chew things is a must.    A few of the many great things about us:   - We are super sweet, and love to play, but will also stay quietly in our kennel when the foster family runs errands.    - We will be your sunshine,.   - We haven't quite grasped learning to walk on a leash, We can't figure out why this thing is following us or attached to us? We are being introduced to commands we don't know them well but like the treats!    - Our crate is a safe place and we sleep together quietly in it all night without a peep.     - Our potty training is going well. Hershee is a super star, Nestli still needs a little patience.   - We are good right away with other animals, love children and adults, and give lots of kisses. We can be shy around people at first, but don't hesitate around animals. We get very snuggly quick.   - We would love to live somewhere we can be active and still a puppies. We love running freely in the yard.   -Currently we are living with 2 foster siblings, a fully grown female great dane and a shepherd mixed boy pup.     If you are interested in meeting us, please fill out an adoption application at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication - We can't wait to meet you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 21, 2024, 5:40 pm

Story
Nevermore has a lot to say about being named after the famous story, The Raven. This handsome young dog loves being with people, playing with toys and enjoys the company of his siblings. Nevermore may seem opinionated initially but he settles down nicely and really knows how to relax. Like all young dogs, Nevermore will need gentle guidance to grow into the best version of himself....Quoth the Raven, Nevermore.

Story
Hello there! My name is Coco, and I’m a 6-year-old brown lab mix tipping the scales at a delightful 84 lbs—just think of me as the fluffier sidekick to the enchanting character from the movie! While I might not be strumming a guitar like Miguel, I do have a heart full of love and a knack for stealing the spotlight during cuddle time. I’m currently working on my “diet” (more like a quest for the ultimate doggy treat that won’t put me in the doghouse), but I promise I still have plenty of energy for outdoor adventures! Hiking is my idea of a grand escapade, where I can channel my inner adventurer! Now, I must admit, I can be a bit choosy when it comes to my canine companions. Just like Miguel was selective about who he shared his guitar with, I prefer a gentle and gradual introduction to other polite pups. No need to rush in like a mariachi band crashing a quiet gathering; I prefer to take my time to ensure we vibe! If you’re searching for a lovable lab mix who’s got a heart as big as her appetite, I’m your girl! Let’s create our own tail-wagging story filled with laughter, cuddles, and maybe a few treats—just no singing skeletons, please!
