Story
*Meet Cocoa!* Cocoa is a sweet, affectionate puppy who is always ready for snuggles and love. She has a calm and gentle nature, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a laid-back, loving best friend. While she enjoys playtime and fun adventures, Cocoa’s favorite place to be is right by her people, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Her warm, cuddly personality makes her a true comfort pup, always ready to bring joy and affection to those around her. Cocoa was born on December 14th into a difficult situation. She, her sister Cider, and their parents, Winter and Storm, were strays struggling to survive on their own. Their little family was rescued just in time thanks to an incredible community and a dedicated trapper. Mama Winter was in critical condition and needed emergency surgery, while Cocoa and Cider were weak and malnourished. Sadly, they were the only surviving puppies from their litter, but they never gave up. With love, care, and lots of determination, they have grown into happy, healthy, and loving pups. Now, Cocoa is ready to find a forever family to call her own. She is currently in a foster home in Texas, waiting for the perfect home where she will be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the incredible pup she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion who will be by your side through every moment, Cocoa is the perfect match. Apply today and give this precious girl the happily-ever-after she deserves! All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. Story
Hi, my name is Maggie, and I'm 5 years old and weigh 55 lbs. It's difficult to tell in my photos, but I have a beautiful, shiny black coat with auburn highlights. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know and trust someone, I will be the most loyal and loving dog ever. I have wonderful house manners, so my foster family leaves me with run of the house when they leave. I love toys, in fact I'm a little addicted to them! I don't chew or destroy them, I just love to carry them around, kind of like a security blanket. I get along well with the other dog in my foster home, but I am a little scared and nervous around new dogs. Truth be told, I would love to be an only dog so I can get all the attention and cuddles. I also prefer a quiet, low activity home, and I am not a good candidate for apartment life. I'm really a low maintenance dog. Just let me hang out with my people, and I'm good! Please submit your application to meet me, and an adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Aster is almost 10 months old! We think she's a black Lab/Terrier mix, but the breed mix is 100% guesswork on our part. Aster has THE BEST ears ever. She's a smart, sweet girl that has normal puppy energy. She would be so excited to find her forever home with another playful dog her size so they can have long wrestling sessions and wear each other out! She loves to take walks or hikes and explore all the things along the trail. She does well on leash and wants to use a harness on her walks because it's a great fashion accessory (and helps with learning leash manners). She absolutely loves going to the lake. She doesn't swim, but she splashes around paw-deep in the water like it's the coolest thing ever! Aster's most favorite thing is chasing flying insects, and she has plenty to choose from with all the Cicadas and June Bugs flying around this year. She likes to play fetch and tug with durable toys; the soft stuffed ones only last about 5 minutes! Aster is a little shy when you first meet her but if you toss down a good treat you can be her BFF within a few short minutes. She warms up to women quickly, but will take a little longer with men. Small children make her very nervous, so no kids under the age of 10. She is housebroken and has learned some basic commands - she sits like a champ, absolutely LOVES to chase balls and brings them right back to you and drops them at your feet. She is a smart cookie and will be a fun and loyal companion for the right adopter. The first step to meeting Aster is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
"Hi! My name is Cammy! I'm 8 months old, and most people think I am a mix between Yellow Lab and Greyhound. I may look beautiful and regal in my photos, and I am, but I'm really a goofy, playful puppy. I love to play, and chasing a ball is my favorite game. Foster dad throws it as far as he can, and I go racing after it, super fast like a Greyhound. Then I bring it back, over and over again, like a Lab Retriever. I also have a cuddly, affectionate side and love to snuggle with my people. I love other dogs, especially if they are up for play wrestling or a game of chase. I may be a little too enthusiastic for older, more laid back dogs. If someone is home most of the time, I would like that best, but I've been learning to stay in my crate for a few hours when my foster people are away. I go for walks or runs every day, so I will be a great walking or running partner. I can't wait to meet you and become a member of your family. And just in case you missed it: I am a puppy that loves to play and snuggle!" Please submit your application, and an adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Meet Kelly and Kenny! They came to Apollo together and are a bonded pair. Kenny is the more outgoing one of the two of them and gets super excited to see you! He has the silliest happy face he makes when he’s excited and he loves to be the center of attention. He can be a little nervous around new people but once he realizes you will pet him he’s ready to be your best friend! Kelly is a sweet shy lady. Kelly can be a little weary of new people but once she realizes her best friend Kenny is getting loved on she gets her confidence and wants to be your friend. She is also almost always doing happy tail wags and it’s adorable. She is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Kenny and Kelly will do best in a home with older children. They will need a calm home due to them being shy towards new people and situations. They were born in 2015 and are located at the rescue.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry
