Story
Ava was found in a Northpointe neighborhood. Signs were put up in the area and she was posted on neighborhood sites. Sadly, no one claimed this pretty girl. Emmy’s Hope Rescue began sponsoring Ava in July 2020.   Ava is a very sweet, happy-go-lucky, even-tempered and affectionate big girl. She is very curious and has a high energy level. She loves to run and play fetch with balls, ropes and frisbees. When she is not fetching, then she likes to carry something around in her mouth. She loves to be petted, shake hands and give hugs. Ava needs a big yard to run around in and a loving, active family that’s experienced with big dogs.                                                                                                                                                                             Estimated birth date:  February 2019 Approximate weight:  70 lbs. If you would like to meet Ava, please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard. 4. **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Gentle in spirit, and with pleading golden eyes, sweet Carolina might not have had the best start in life but hasn't let it dampen her spirits one bit! Jovial and fun-loving, Carolina may not be the biggest fan of other dogs and avoidant of cats, this charming lady wants nothing more than to be the center of her family's adoration, and it's well deserved! Life on the streets has forced Carolina to endure some health issues, but she's still got quite a few truly good years ahead of her! We'd love to see her in a spoiling home, one where she can be treasured for her lifetime! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers her spay, microchip, and current vaccines. Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** Are you looking for a cool and laid back dog? Then meet Blackie! Blackie is one of our most famous dogs at our facility. For years our street team had watched and fed Blackie with the hopes of catching him. Finally, one lucky day another local shelter caught him alongside our two other residents Bahia and Pony. Thankfully, Blackie was already social and ready to meet everyone at our facility. Now, his laid back personality is very apparent. He likes to walk around outside and scope out the area a little and once satisfied he will lay down and rest. Do not be fooled though as he still likes interaction. He will gladly come over for some affection and stand by your side. He might even show you one of his tricks "sit" for a little treat. Blackie had spent many years on the streets and is now ready for his new forever home. Are you willing to take the time to show him what a loving home is all about? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. ***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** This cute dog with little white boots for paws is ready to play! Before Laney arrived at our rescue, she was found laying on top of a children's play set by volunteers. Her rescue location truly foreshadows her personality because this young pup loves to play! Laney might spend her time outside running around with you or she might spend time playing fetch with you. Either way, she wants to move around, especially with a companion. Truly, Laney loves attention and is a very sweet, adorable puppy. She is an older puppy but is still young enough to learn new tricks and the ways of living with a loving family. If you are ready to adopt and show a younger dog the wonders of life, then please do consider little Laney! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $275 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Harper is very in-tune to her people.  She is still young at heart and therefore is also high energy. Her energy level requires a high fenced yard with plenty of room to “zoom” :0).  She is a great car rider, who doesn’t drool or get carsick and loves to ride. She is crate trained and VERY treat motivated.  She gets along well with MOST other dogs - but can be selective so proper introduction would be best. She gets along better with male dogs than females and would be PRIME for an "only dog" household.  Harper has a tendency to play rough so needs supervision to avoid over-escalation with other dogs.  She has not been around children or cats. She has tried to play with the horses but is not vicious.  She is truly a loyal loving girl that needs her forever home! She is a girl and not always aware of  her strength. She would be a great addition to an active family. Thank  you for adopting!! We would love to get updates should you want to send them!!! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Thank you!     November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
Smoothie is one of a littler of 7 that were found while their eyes were still closed.  She is the only female in the bunch.  She is timid at first but warms up QUICKLY - constantly seeking attention and approval - she is very smart.  She has not been housetrained, but we are working on crate training and she is doing very well!!  She loves to run and explore, and has a tendancy to be clingy to her people.  She has not been exposed to cats or kids.... so larger kids would be better as she does not know how to contain her energy.  She is a LOVE.  Smoothie is friends with EVERYONE she meets - two AND four legged.  November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm
