Story
Meet Buddy, a sweet & loyal companion in need of a new home. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide the care and attention this loving dog deserves. Buddy is 7 years old, a lab/shar pei mix, and is very energetic. About Buddy: • Great with kids, adults & other pets. • Crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands. • Very affectionate and loves cuddles, walks & playing in the yard. Buddy thrives off of exercise • Buddy spends most of the day outdoors (weather permitting) but loves to snuggle up indoors whenever possible. • Buddy has been neutered & has had an eyelid lift when he was 2, a common surgery needed for shar peis. The reason for re-home: • Buddy needs more exercise and affection than our home can currently provide. Buddy would thrive with an owner who works from home/part time. Buddy always needs a quality chew toy nearby and has a tendency to chew when stressed/anxious. We have loved Buddy for the past 6 years but we can no longer give him what he really needs.

Story
Roger was pulled from the city pound and is adjusting to life with us. He has become very protective of his new home and his friends. He is very stranger aware and gives a clear warning to those unfamiliar to him. Rodger is big enough that he gets his warning across to someone he considers a stranger. Once he knows your are not a threat he is all smiles and wiggles! Rodger is a handsome dog with a lot of potential to become a best friend. He needs to help take care of and be a part of a loving home. This big boy has a lot of love to give!!

Story
Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Jackson is a Shar Pei/Lab mix. He is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 60lbs. Jackson is a great dog but needs an experienced owner. He has lots of energy and can be mouthy. He can be corrected and wants to learn. Some obedience training would be a great benefit for him. He came into our rescue with another female dog but we believe he should be an only dog. He has not been tested with cats. Due to his excitable energy level, we do not recommend a home with small children.  ##1122493##
