Carti is a 22lb 4 month old Black Lab Retriever. She is very playful and energetic and would require someone who could dedicate time to training her. She is very stubborn and loves to bite, as all puppies do. She is kennel trained, potty trained to go outside, and knows a few tricks for some treats. She can be cuddly at times or just want her own space at other times. She is good with car rides, she doesn’t cry or bark, she just sleeps. She hasn’t gotten her last parvo shot so she hasn’t been around other dogs. However, she does play around with the my next door neighbors dog through a small hole in the ground underneath the fence. She won’t pee or poo unless I’m outside with her. And she cries if I put her to bed in the kennel, and then leave the room. However, she eventually falls asleep. She’s just a little baby that needs a lot of love and patience🥹💖💖

We got a call that 13 puppies and two moms were at risk of being brutally killed on a property in San Diego, Texas. They were reportedly dumped on a ranch and were killing the chickens. Thankfully we found two rescue to take the babies and one mom, but Nana still needs a home! She is very timid which makes sense considering her background. She’s learning it’s okay to go in the house and that humans aren’t so scary. Nana loves a good belly rub and will immediately roll over if she knows you’re going to give her one. She has met other dogs (outside of the ones she was rescued with) and doesn’t show any aggression, but she’s cautious and probably hasn’t been around other dogs very much, if at all. She was very weak when I brought her home. I took her to the vet the following day and got the first set of vaccinations done. The next set are in first week of Jan after which she can be adopted.

Twice last year we took in a pregnant female from someone who did not have the ability to provide care. Waldo was originally adopted out, but after a little over a month, the family moved into a home that didn't allow dogs, and we have had him since. He was born Nov 19, 2023 (17 months old) and we immediately called him Waldo because he loved to hide and we never knew where he was! Waldo is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies shot, and is all-around healthy. He loves to run, play with squeakies, and play "you throw the tennis ball and I'll run off with it." He's housetrained and knows how to use a doggy door. He hasn't had much experience with a leash and harness, but is definitely smart enough to be trained. Waldo loves to sit on the floor by your feet and throw his head back into your lap to get scratches and rubs. We know he will make a wonderful addition to any home

Maise and Daisy were both adopted from the Williamson county animal shelter several years ago. Daisy the black and white dog is 13 years old and is a loner. She wouldn’t hurt a fly and is very mellow. She’ll sit behind the sofa all day and only likes to go outside to pee. Maise the brown dog is 4 years old. She is energetic and likes to go on walks. She has come along way and is very loyal. She listens well and is house trained. Both of them get along well.

Urgent!! Need home or foster for this big sweetie! This is Sam, a large in-tact lab/shepherd mix. He was surrendered to us by a neighbor who is no longer able to care for him, but we are not able to keep him long-term. We are located in Manor, but can transport him elsewhere in the Austin area if needed in order to find him a suitable home! He is a super sweet boy. Unsure how he is around other animals or children. He has seen our dogs and cats and seems a bit timid, but this could just be due to a lot of change and an unfamiliar environment!! Would likely be best in a home without children at this time as he is very large and not yet fully trained, so he likes to jump up to show his affection! Sam walks well on a leash and is house trained. He is very affectionate and smart and is going to be an incredible companion for someone!
