Story
Viola-also known as Sister V came from a litter of pups born to a stray mother. The foster was abandoned by another rescue and came to us for help. The pups had skin issues which have since cleared. Viola is one of the smaller and more outgoing dogs in her litter and is the only girl. She crates okay, stays well in a secure fence and is learning to walk on a leash. She is friendly and fairly well behaved. She has been around older kids, but not smaller ones, but has been gentle and friendly with all people. Just no cats as she will chase them and pounce.

Story
Tipper is a big girl who can be shy at first, but is gentle and affectionate once she gets to know you. She is an owner surrender due to owner health. She is good with other dogs, but not so much with cats. With other dogs she is playful, but may occasionally bully smaller dogs a bit. It seems like she thinks it is her job to keep them in their place. She has done okay around older kids, but has not been around smaller ones. She would likely do okay with slow and proper introductions. She rides okay in the car once in, but is not fond of getting in. She is learning to walk on a leash and does okay. She stays well in a secure fence. She has not been crated, as owner doesn't have one that big, but would likely do okay. She enjoys petting and treats and would love a home with at least one other larger dogs to play with.

Story
This handsome boy is Smiley! He got that name because he smiles with all his teeth. Smiley had a really rough start as he was tethered for several years, but in true Smiley fashion he has overcome those years and is just an amazing boy. He is loyal and friendly, playful and smart and is GREAT with other dogs. Smiley is leash trained and knows basic obedience commands, crate trained and houstrained, fully vetted and heartworm negative. The perfect furever home for Smiley would be one with a strong leader, as he is strong. He loves going in the car and lying with his head on your lap on the sofa. Due to Smiley's size we would recommend a home with no small children. If you're looking for a buddy, Smiley is your man! Please email or call for more information on this sweet boy!

Story
Cole, a sweet black Labrador, is seeking a new home. His owner recently moved into a senior assisted living community and was unable to bring him along. Cole is currently staying alone at her former home, where family members visit twice daily to feed and play with him, but with the house going up for sale soon, he needs a loving, permanent place to call home. Cole is five years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has just had a recent vet checkup confirming he’s in great health. He was a wonderful companion to his 88-year-old owner and is known for being affectionate and lovable. He’s great with both children and adults, though he hasn’t been around other dogs or cats, so it’s unknown how he might interact with them. If you or someone you know can offer Cole the loving home he deserves, please reach out and make a difference for this wonderful dog.
