Story
Macey is a 5 year lab/pit mix who we adopted during COVID. She is curious, sweet, and energetic. Unfortunately, she no longer gets along with our small toy poodle and since we adopted her we have had a baby. We are looking for a home where she can explore and that can provide the maintenance that she needs. Macey is crate trained and we can provide this to her next home if it is something that is needed. Macey does get along with dogs her size.

Story
Rockys story: Rocky was about to be dropped off at the shelter by his owner who could no longer care for him due to a new job. To protect him from the trauma of being in a shelter we brought him in to be in a loving active home while we find his forever home. We have 4 kids and one dog, so while we would love to keep him, it is just too much on our plate. About Rocky: Rocky is the SWEETEST boy and very low maintenance. He is very calm and mellow for a 2 year olds and his favorite thing to do is cuddle. He loves our 1 year old, 3, 5 and 9 year olds and actually seeks them out to cuddle. He also sleeps with them in their beds! A funny thing about Rocky is that he sleeps on his back and gives hugs when asked. He is good with our dog and we have taken him to the dog park where he was also friendly. The only thing is he shows his teeth/growls at our dog while waiting for dinner but has never done anything further. If you are looking for a chill and sweet companion, Rocky is your boy!

His favorite part of the day is when he gets his raw hide dental chew after dinner. He loves to run outside and is very sweet and loving.

She was a rescue dog that we saved from a Amish puppy mill. She was a zombie when we got her. Now she is the perfect dog. She was the dog of the month in THE DODO twice. So shws famous:) one of her storys on UNILAD had 72 mill views. I posted a link to her video they made of her. I have since moved to Austin for a new job and travel 6 days a week:( So would like her to be with someone that can see her and spend time with her. Just like her name, Banana is the sweetest girl. She loves belly rubs, being held and snuggled. Banana was saved from a life of neglect in South Texas. Because of her past, she can be a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. She’s a low energy dog who likes to nap and sunbathe outside. She does not require a lot of exercise. Banana is very dog friendly and loves to play with her 3 foster dog sisters. She loves riding in the car to take fun trips to the pet store. Banana is spayed, fully house-trained and crate trained. Banana is currently fostered in Texas but transportation is available to adopters anywhere in the USA. If you are interested in giving Banana the loving home she deserves, please submit an application at www.savingsouthtexas.com/adoptables

Story
Logan is the sweetest and most loving boy. He has an adorable silly side! He is about 45 lbs and 2 years old. He is fully house trained. Logan is dog-friendly with other dogs, he especially loves dogs that are similar size to him (medium & large). Dogs help Logan feel safer and more confident, so we are looking for a home that has another dog to help provide him support. Because of Logan's past life, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But he adjusts quickly with a little love and patience.

Meet Coco, our delightful 3-year-old companion! He absolutely loves running and strolling in the great outdoors. He relishes having his fur brushed and thrives on the company of people. Though we have a small yard and busy schedules that limit our time with him, Coco is a gem. He's wonderful with kids, playful, well-trained, and has an incredibly sweet nature. Coco would make a fantastic addition to a loving home that can spend more time with him!
