Story
Charlie is a stray who followed me home from a walk one day. Unfortunately, I don’t really know anything about his history. I did take him to the vet for a preliminary check-up and was told he’s a very healthy young dog. The vet guesses he’s about 2yrs old. He’s a very sweet and energetic boy. He loves to play and will definitely need someone who can take him on daily walks or a place where he can run all his energy out. He also loves other dogs, unfortunately my senior dog does not feel the same. I’m looking for someone who will give this baby the love and home he deserves.

Story
I was going to an Astros game in Houston, Tx. I was going early to go walk around downtown and get with time. While walking i went to the Dynamo Stadium and she was very still and quiet by the trees outside the stadium there were a couple of homeless people around i ask them about her and everybody told me they just saw her sit and stay there for the last two hours. I grab her pet her and she’s very loyal dog happy high energy and I couldn’t leave her there again. I brought her home and name her “Orbit” like the Astros pet. And the end i miss the ticket to the game, brought her home and now im looking for someone to be her forever home!! (take her for a walk daily and it's very intelligent dog specially if food is around could be easy to train her)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My foster mom fell in love with my gorgeous hazel eyes, my sweet personality and soft tan and white coat.   She loves that I love to be held so she can stare into my eyes.  My Foster mom spoils me rotten, but I deserve it.  I love being here with all my foster siblings but mom thinks I deserve a home that will love me unconditionally and keep me forever.    Crate trained, 90% potty trained.   Working on leash work Can you help a guy out? =============== Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . ADOPTION FEE:  The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.   PUPPIES   Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency.     This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue. Children under 8 years old  often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children. Approval:  You will be notified via email once your application is approved.  Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations.   Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it. NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others. AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Callie! This CUDDLEBUG is a young, smart, and playful girl! She was an owner surrender, and unfortunately was bounced around a bit before coming to her foster home. She needs an owner who will love her unconditionally, the way she loves them. She loves to lay on the couch with her people and watch tv. She's quiet unless she wants attention, then she'll try to talk. Lol! Callie is also VERY treat motivated, which makes it easy to teach her new tricks! She is a little scared of dominant male dogs that are larger than her. Callie is so smart! She knows how to sit and shake with both paws! We're sure she could learn how to do a lot more! This sweet girl has been through a lot, but has done exceptionally well in her foster home! She is a loyal, sweet girl!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 She is:  • house trained • sleeps in her kennel all night • loves toys and playing fetch  • rides well in cars • perfect medium size     =============== Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog.
