Story
Sunny was a stray that would visit my friend's house in the evenings and sleep in his front porch, after several days my friend exhausted all avenues to find the owner. I was asked to foster the dog and find a forever home for him but to no avail. I've kept the dog for a few months and have started training him, but I cannot keep him because of the time commitment to properly train him and to give him the attention he deserves. There are also other personal reasons on why I cannot keep him. Sunny has been kennel trained and kept both indoors and outdoors. He gets along well with my other two rescues, he will sit for his food/snacks until the command is given to eat, and he is not aggressive and seems to want to be next to a human or another dog at all times. He does not scratch the door to come in but will wait patiently outside the door. He is still in the chewing and digging phase, but still working on this. He does well with other people. Sunny is a Lab/German Sheppard mix.

Story
I got Mickey in January of 2020 at the age of 8 months - a sweet, yet hectic, tank of a dog. He’s gotten himself into some trouble over the years (demolishing a couch and eating drywall) but he’s the sweetest thing. I’m looking for a home that can match his levels of energy and love. He loves taking snuggle naps and chewing on anything he’s given. He’ll run miles when given the opportunity and loves to play with other dogs & cats, but the cats don’t wanna play with him lol I’ve unfortunately come across some instances where Mickey gets too excited and he has bulldozed through my two year old multiple times without even realizing. He means no harm and has no ill intent, but he doesn’t comprehend his size and strength. I wouldn’t recommend him to a family with small children and it’s for that reason Mickey and I will have to part ways. He spends too much of his time being spatially restricted or stuck outside in order to keep the little kiddos in my house safe.

Buttercup is a 3 year old white lab-shepard mix that was found abandoned. We took her in but she has always been shy and stays to herself. She does not get along with our other older female dog. Buttercup is affectionate, house trained and crate trained. We are looking for a good home for her.

Added to At Risk due to shelter stress. Rocky is a senior dog at almost 11 years old and is losing his eyesight&#44 making the shelter very scary and stressful. He urgently needs to leave the shelter.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Rocky was surrendered at 10 years old when his owner lost his home. He has lived with other dogs his entire life and does well with other dogs at the shelter as well. He is potty trained and walks perfectly on leash. He can be afraid of vacuums&#44 cars&#44 thunderstorms&#44 and can be shy at first. If you give him a treat&#44 he warms up quickly. He is a giant couch potato and just wants all the cuddles. He is gentle taking treats&#44 and his friends think he would make a great first dog.
