Story
I adopted Roxi when she was just 3 months old from a local shelter in Houston, TX. She will be 12 years old on August 5th. I have recently taken on an extremely busy career to where I can no longer give her the love, time, and attention she desperately needs. Roxi deserves to live in a loving home with someone who can be home at least 1-2 times a day, and a yard would be super ideal for her. Roxi is a GREAT dog. This is, by far, the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life. I love my Roxi girl so much and want the absolute best for her. She has developed severe separation anxiety since I started my new career and it is just not fair to her. She deserves to be happy in her remaining years. Roxi is mild-tempered (but will bark when someone is at the door!), very calm (loves to just hangout around the house while I am watching TV, doing chores, etc), gets along great with my male cat, loves to chase squirrels, and is very affectionate.
