Story
Scooby was born 8/14/2021. A family friends dogs had a litter and she gifted Scooby to my son. Scooby is kennel trained and house trained. We always have friends, family, kids and at times new people to our social group; and Scooby is great. He is used to seeing people. He will alert if he hears someone he does not know, at the door. At this time, my son has been struggling with allergies, which our doctor recommended us to start making some changes in our home. Please take care of Scooby. We love him but cannot keep him anymore.

Story
Nebo’s my name, playing is my game! I live with lots of other dogs and I love to play with whoever will play with me. I am good at keeping up with the big kids or being less rough for the little ones. I am a very high energy guy so I can wear out a lot of my buddies and still have energy leftover. I will chase cats if they want but most of them don't want to be bothered by me. My favorite is being with people. I have a want-to-please personality. I love it when my foster parents take me to PetsMart and I get attention there. I love people of all sizes and ages but my rescue friends say I'm too active for some people. I have good house manners and can even be in a crate if I have to be. I’m a Lab / Cattle Dog mix, weigh about 55 pounds, and my birthday is 3/8/14. Will you be my forever playmate?Nebo is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. The first step in our adoption process for this handsome boy is to submit your application which is available online at hillcrestanimalrescue.org. Story
Yellow labDougie is a lovely large male dog. He’s an older adult but still has plenty of energy. He is very gentle with kids and humans and gets along with most dogs but has not been around cats. He tends to have the calming influence of a Lab on a household. He should not be put into a household with another alpha male dog. He is protective of his family and home and would be great for a family looking for a dog for safety reasons. Dougie will make a fantastic dog for any family. He is housetrained and fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His vet records will be turned over to his adoptive parent(s). He is ready to find his forever home!

Story
Scout was rescued from CCAS 09-06-2024 after a plea was sent out by the shelter. Scout was found as a stray in Anna. Scout is a 12-week-old 32-pound as of 10-28-2024 male Lab/Pry Mix. Scout is current on vaccines, rabies, dewormed, capstar, neutered and micro chipped. Scout is a typical playful puppy with boundaries to learn. Jumping and nipping are our current behaviors we are working on. He did learn to climb up and down the stairs last week! Scout is crate trained and working on house training. Plays well with other dogs in the home. He has been working on his leash training and has almost mastered it. A home with yard for Scout to run around and play ball and tug of war. Scout would do best in a home with older children due to his puppy behavior. No apartment dwelling. Adoption fee is 325.00.  Est. weight full grown 90 pounds of LOVE FLUF and FUN     We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
This sweet adorable boy is making progress. We are so proud of he and his brother; they have had a long road but are learning life can be good to them. He is a petite dog, just the perfect size. He absolutely adores being outside. He loves to run and spin. He comes to the window when he is ready to come back inside. He is very sweet and quiet, does not make a lot of noise and loves his chew toys so that is a must! He is an overall sweetheart once he knows he is safe and feels comfortable. Bullwinkle came to us shy and timid. He will need someone who is patient and willing to help him with his insecurities; while he is making strides he will still need patience and time to acclimate. He will do best in a home with another dog that will help him build his confidence. He is about 35-45 lbs, almost 2 years old, loves salami, and his chew toys. He will need a home with a backyard since he is shy and the freedom of a yard allows him more time to come out of his shell. Older children who understand the need to go slow with him are recommended. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
