LOUIE LOUIE (available for adoption) Meet Louie, a 1 year old, tall Labrador with a happy, playful personality. He is about 1 1/2 years old and 68 pounds. Louie came to us very skinny, and we have been working to put some weight on him. We are pretty good at that!!! He has a healthy appetite that fuels fetch sessions and tumble time with his doggy foster brother. He’s gaining a little at a time, whatever he does not burn off during play. Louie is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention and microchipped Louie would love to be part of an active family. Louie gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys having both people and dogs for company. He is a big boy, and a baby at heart. His favorite things are squeaky toys, his football, treats, the water, and buddies. Louie wants to be near the action, and does not want to miss anything. He is enthusiastic in all things, and is learning to be gentle. He is an eager learner and picks up on things quickly. He is housebroken and crate trained. After a full day of living life to the fullest, Louie settles down easily through the night. Then he wakes ready to do it all again. Louie will need a fenced back yard with plenty of grassy area for play time. He would really love another dog buddy about his size in his new family. He is being fostered with kids and does great with them. Due to his size and energy level, Louie would be best with kids at least 6 to 8 years old. He has not been tested with cats. Eemma might be the sweetest dog I've ever met, and I've had quite a few! She is extremely loyal, plays well with other dogs and cats. I found Eemma as a stray and have nursed her back to health over the last year. She is currently on heartworm medication under vet care and I would be happy to help cover those treatments so she's happy and healthy! Eemma had food insecurity initially but has improved - it would be best to separate food if other dogs are in the home. She is very comfortable around women but skittish with men and has not been around children while with me. She would make a great addition to your home!

Sable is being fostered in Tennessee. Hi, I’m Sable. I’m part black lab and part slobber-goblin-land-seal-snuggle-muffin and I am looking for my forever home. I have only one wish... a place to call home! I love to sleep on the sofa with someone to cuddle with. I have learned about cats, there are 2 of them here. I really like them. I get nervous in new places and need help to find my way around. There is a doggy door, so I can go out to potty anytime I want. I am learning stairs, and I am getting used to walking on a leash. There are lots of toys here and my foster siblings share them, and we have so much fun playing. I share my new toys and kibble with them. We love each other! I love playing outside, and I am so gentle. I really want a family who will cuddle me, hold me, hug me, and smooch me. I am not high energy. I’m good with a family who likes to chill or take a walk with me. I travel well and am a great co-pilot. I am fine with a loud crazy household. Noises don't startle me, and I love the sounds of my family around me. I’m not a barker. I am conquering the stairs to go to bed upstairs with the family. He has so much love to give and he is happy to give it to anyone and everyone he meets. 2. He is anxious about being alone. Each day he gets braver and explores away from the safety of me. 3. His happy place is snuggled beside a human! 4. Great with my cats. 5. Has met my neighbors and my family. He loves them and is fantastic with both of my Weimaraner’s. No dominance but still confident. A lovely mix in his personality. 😍 6. Sable is smart and he has this head tilt when he is concentrating. It’s so cute that I want to give him anything he desires! Just a few pics to share of him enjoying play time in his yard and snuggling... my favorite is the one of him and his foster brother Rowan (who is fully sighted) "hunting" squirrels with their eyes closed.
