Story
Jax, my 8-year-old dog, is a lovable and kind companion. He's house-trained and gets along great with kids and other pets. He's very mild-mannered and prefers to stay home rather than go for walks. Jax's favorite thing in the world is to be rubbed and petted all day. He's a sweet and affectionate dog who brings a lot of joy to our family.

Story
This is Gus! I originally was going to foster Gus but then decided to go ahead and adopt him because he needed to find a home fast. Gus is big guy who who loves to pretend he is a lap dog. Gus enjoys walks, treats, and laying in bed and relaxing with his people. Whenever I take Gus to get groomed they tell me he is the chillest dog. He is a little shy at first but once he is comfortable it is nothing but love! Gus is needing to be rehomed as he does not get along with my blind and deaf chihuahua. Although they do not get along Gus has lived with dogs of all sizes and gets along with my other dog/ fosters. He can live in a home with other dogs- I recommend he does not live with dogs with special needs though

Story
Daisy is an 82lb, personality filled Lab Pit mix who was adopted 4 years ago in College Station when she was 6 to 12 months old. She was severely mistreated, but this female warrior with a big girl bark has made it a long, long way. She currently is not for kids, uneasy people, or men in hats or sunglasses (she is slowly working out her hats and sunglasses fear). Daisy is uptight during storms, but she’s much better if you let her go dance in the rain. Dogs of all sizes are fun playmates for Daisy, she will pounce at them like a cat. If you let her, Daisy will eat from your hand or fork like a well trained debutante. Daisy also likes occasional alone time willingly in her kennel, called home. She needs sound when you leave the house. Daisy enjoy toys and tennis balls, and fully exercises herself in a yard. I haven’t employed firm set times for eating or going out, so they should do well adapting to your schedule.

Story
Lily is a beautiful labrador mix - young and healthy with a fun loving spirit. She loves life and it shows!! Lily was dumped by a church with all her belongings and a good samaritan found her and brought her to us. It was apparent when Lily came to us that the previous owner had done nothing to help Lily be a good dog. She had no manners whatsoever...so much energy and no idea how to use it. In the short month Lily has been with us, she has crate trained herself, learned sit and down like a pro, is loose leash walking, learned to play fetch, and discovered the joys of a puppy pool. This young girl is gorgeous, smart and wants nothing more than to please you. Lily will need an active household and someone who will continue working with her on basic obedience and will help her find jobs to keep her little mind and body busy. Lilly will need an experienced dog owner, one that is confident, consistent, and can give her the guidance she needs to grow into the best dog she can be. If interested in Lily, head to our website (http://lifelongfriends.org/adoptions) and fill out an adoption application!

Chance is a sweet boy! He loves people. He has the Shar-pei horse coat so very little shedding. He is a neat, clean dog. Crate trained and housebroken. Doesn't chew his toys or bedding up. Would do best in a home with children over 12. Sudden moves of younger children may startle him.

Hi, my name is Capiche! I am looking for a loving and calm home. A home where I can stay put, receive a lot of love, and enjoy a lot of cuddle time.. I LOVES TO SNUGGLE! I am good with other dogs. I've never met a cat, I don't even know what that is. Although I think I would do well with kids because I'm still playful in my own gentle way, I am looking for a more calm environment. One where I can relax and retire. I have been on the move my entire life. I just want to be in one place with my forever family!! If you think you can give me what I need, PLEASE email info@wagshopesandhealing.org
