Story
Well, it's been an adventure with these two! Rodeo and Texas were found in a parking lot, covered in fleas and wounds. They seem to be around 2 months old and are very bonded. They eat together, play together, and sleep together. They don't mind being around other dogs as they're around two others in the household. Rodeo is all black and has an appetite! She loves food. Rodeo can be a little shy but when put inside the kennel she passes out and doesn't make a peep! Rodeo loves to chase and grab the ball, and even though it's hard for her because she's so little she manages to grab it. Texas is brown with black markings on the face. She is a MISS personality! A super cuddle bug and wants to be held all the time. She'll also follow you around to see what you're up to and want to join. She loves blankets and it gives her comfort when taking a nap. Up to date on shots and flea medicine. Texas is on ringworm medicine but it's not contagious it just needs to be applied to heal.

Story
We got River from BARC animal shelter in Houston. She was a very calm and skinny dog when we got her. While having her she has been a sweet dog who just loves to run. She is VERY fast. She loves to play with other dogs. We have loved her, but we can no longer meet her needs because she is a very energetic and playful dog. We are moving to Austin and we will not be able to get a place with a nice yard for her to roam. She loves to explore and run, and then come inside and snuggle.

Story
Hi, I'm Connor! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Male Weight: 46 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever/English Setter Mix Favorites: Exploring outside, hanging out with people Energy level: Moderate Training: Appears potty trained Other important info about me: I’m a super friendly boy with a calm and happy disposition! I’m curious about my surroundings and one of my favorite activities at the shelter is to watch the cars go by from the play yard fence. I like spending time outside, but I don’t like being very far from people either so wherever you are, that’s where I want to be. I’ve spent time in a foster home and was very well behaved; I also got along great with their other dog. I am friendly with people of all ages, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. Story
Daisy was adopted in June of 2024 from the La Porte animal shelter. She was around a year old then. Her name was originally Paisley but we changed it to Daisy after the Disney character. She loves playing with other dogs, water, treats, and affection. She has been around kids and likes them but can get a little excited. She is a bit overwhelming for my 3 and 5 year old children. She loves to run and play outside. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She has had all her shots including the heartworm shot. She is also already spayed. She does bark but wears a vibrating collar the keeps it under control. It’s been a tough decision but unfortunately we aren’t able to give her the time she needs and financially requires. We love Daisy and want to find a new home that can give her the time, attention, and space to play she deserves. Must be able to give her outside time weather permitting and prefer somebody with another dog. She is very social!

Story
We've raised Zoey since she was a pup. Zoey is 3 1/2 years old. She was raised with other dogs and she does well around other children. She loves attention and likes lots of exercise. She loves to follow you and sit or cuddle with you. She understands the command to sit and shake hands. Zoey was raised inside our home. Occasional walks or play time in th back yard but she is an inside dog. She is house trained...we use XXXL Pee Pads. Zoey comes with a Bed, Food\Water Bowls, Collar and Leash. We are looking for a caring family or individual that will love and spend time with Zoey. We don't want her kept outside. That's not how she was raised.

Story
Our Mission: Woof Pack Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to improve the health, welfare, and safety of Houston's dogs. Our organization was started by one dog mom on a mission to help those animals in need. Our goal is to find loving homes for abandoned, lost, forgotten or mistreated dogs from the streets of Houston and surrounding areas. Currently being fostered in Houston, Tx with transport available out of state. The DNA results are in and Luke is part labrador retriever, part american pitbull terrier, and part german shepard, which explains Luke's pointy ears! He is approximately 15 months old. Luke is a very handsome fellow with a very shiny jet black coat , with white on his chest. He has the whitest teeth I've ever seen and very pointy ears, kind of like "Spock" ears. His story: Luke and his sibling sister, Leia were found roaming a neighborhood, searching for shelter, food and water for 3 weeks before I saw them. Unfortunately, as so many strays in Houston go, neither one was fixed and she was in heat. Every male dog from the area found poor Leia, much to Luke's upset. We left out food and water where we got notification of sightings and finally found them, exhausted and hungry. After we managed to catch them, all of the other dogs disappeared and both of them just ate and slept for days. He had war wounds and bites healing and she was exhausted. I had her vetted and scheduled for spay immediately, but Luke was not having his sister be gone from his sight and tried to escape over, under or thru the fence. Sooooo, it turned into a double day, all without a plan. Anyone in rescue knows, you have to have a place to go, but the universe had other plans. We had to board them at first and that gave us a chance to assess their temperments as well. They relied heavily on each other at first and were anxious when separated, but the trainer recommended we work on separating them so they can flourish as individuals. They do well with the other dogs, and are getting more used to being independent of each other. He is: • hw negative • neutered • UTD on all vaccinations • Microchipped • He is good with all the other dogs, small and large, and is gentle around the small dogs. • potty trained, (even is learning about the bells on the door) • crate trained for naps and night night. (all of the dogs are used to crating after they eat to digest) He still has puppy in him, so he likes to dig, chew on things, play hard, and then lay out in the sun. Luke has the pointiest ears, but only one stands up most of the time. He is a sweetheart and just wants pets and belly rubs and rolling around. He loves his walks too! Since Luke and his sibling grew up together, it would be ideal for him to have a fur buddy at his new home. I would love for him to have a yard to play in and a home with a cool bed to lay on his back and dream of chasing butterflies with a full belly. He has a very sweet disposition, is not food aggressive at all, learns very quickly and has gotten used to being separated from his sibling. He is good around dogs of all sizes and does respond to our "dog whistle" if he or any others are playing too ruff. **Man’s Best Friend partners with us for training and boarding and can give additional information on Luke’s personality. Once we have an initial chat the rescue will put you in contact with them. Please email us if you are interested in giving our handsome boy a loving home and we will notify MBF to give out info. **Luke is available to transport to Austin, TX. or out of state, preferably northern states.

She is approximately 15 months old. Unlike her brother, she has floppy ears and the sweetest amber eyes. Her story: Leia and her sibling brother, Luke, were found roaming a neighborhood, searching for shelter, food and water for 3 weeks before I saw them. Unfortunately, as so many strays in Houston go, neither one was fixed and she was in heat. Every male dog from the area found poor Leia, much to Luke's upset. I had her vetted and scheduled her spay immediately, but because they had only had each other to rely on, it was a double, all without a plan, but time was of the essence due to the probability of her being pregnant . They relied heavily on each other at first and were anxious when separated, but the trainer recommended we work on separating them so they could flourish as individuals. They do very well with the other dogs, and are getting more used to being independent of each other. Sometimes she is a little timid, unless there is another dog getting pets too. She gets very motion sick in the car but I'm still looking for the right combination of things to help her with that. She is: • hw negative • spayed • UTD on all vaccinations • Microchipped • She is good with all the other dogs, small and large, and is gentle around the small dogs. • potty trained, sometimes will ring the bells on the door. • crate trained for naps and night night. (all of the dogs are used to crating after they eat to digest) She is definitely not timid when it comes to play or walks! She still has puppy in her, so she likes to dig, chew on things, play hard, and then lay out in the sun. She is a sweetheart and just wants pets and belly rubs and rolling around. She actually rolled over on her back for the first time recently and presented her belly. Since Leia and her sibling were on the streets together and had only each other to rely on, it would be ideal for her to have a fur buddy at her new home. I would love for her to have a yard to play in and a home with a cool bed to lay on her back, and can dream of chasing butterflies with a full belly and know she is safe and loved. When she looks at you with those eyes, your heart will melt! She has a very sweet disposition, is not food aggressive at all, learns very quickly(learned sit quicker than her brother!) and has gotten used to being separated from her sibling. She is good around dogs of all sizes and does respond to our "dog whistle" if she or any others are playing too ruff. **Man’s Best Friend partners with us for training and boarding and can give additional information on Leia's personality.
