Story
Pending! Harper is a sweet, sweet 3 year old girl that loves to fetch, swim, and, play with her foster brother Ollie. She's trained as a duck-dog who retrieves with a 'soft mouth'. I've been fostering her for the last 8 months for a family member, but they will be unable to take her back and I'm also moving at the first of next year. Harper has very good manners and is housebroken. Sit, stay, fetch, off, no, come, treat, hungry, and more. She loves to snuggle on the couch with you. Sleeps most of the day. She's a super girl! I'I'm not asking any adoption fees, however, PLEASE READ: To prevent Harper from going to a backyard breeder, you will have to pay her spaying fees at the vet before I turn her over to you. I'm happy to let her convalesce here in my home until she's cleared to move on. Harper will come with a 35lb bag of food, some toys, and at least 2 beds to help ease her transition to a new home.

Story
Denali came to us as part of a litter in February, 2023, when she was 8 weeks old. She was adopted as a young puppy, but came back to JoJo's because of an ongoing health issue they were unable to figure out. Our vet correctly diagnosed it as a hormonal issue that we resolved by allowing her to have one heat cycle before she was spayed and she is completely healthy now -- but for all of that time she remained in foster care as we wanted to be sure she was completely healthy before allowing her to be adopted. It's been a long wait for Denali to get to start her forever life with her very own person, but she is more than ready now. Denali is full-grown at 38-40 lbs -- a nice, compact size. Based on DNA results provided by one of her siblings, she is a wide-mix of breeds -- primarily Lab/Boxer but also a sprinkling of Great Pyrenees, Collie, and 37% "breed groups" -- whatever that is! Denali can get along with other dogs of all sizes --and has in her foster home -- but occasionally she will get too rough or bossy. We feel like she would do best in a one (or two) person home, where she can be your best friend and active playmate and not have to compete with other dogs for your attention.. She loves to play and would enjoy going on adventures with you. She's a great car rider and overall happy girl when she's out and about with us. She is very athletic and can scale fences amazingly. Her foster home has wire fencing and no matter how high it didn't stop her from getting out. Finally electrifying the fence worked and she no longer got out. Denali doesn't seem to want to get out of the fence to run off -- she always stayed right around the house when she got outside of the fence. It seems like she does it just because it is fun and she can. So whoever adopts her will need to either keep her on a leash with you or have a secure (even electric) fence that she can't escape. She may not be able to get out of standard 6 foot privacy fencing -- we haven't had a way to test that. She would be great for off-leash walks -- she doesn't try to run off at all if she is with us...she just goes escaping and exploring when left alone in the yard. After adventuring with you, there would be nothing Denali would love more than to share a snack and settle in for some snuggling. She's such a great people dog. If you think you might want to give this uniquely wonderful girl a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes spay, up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment and prevention, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters.

Story
Maggie was a rescue dog and is a very low maintenance pet. She is about a year and 1/2 old. She is very healthy and not a fussy eater. She is very loving and is not aggressive to other dogs or persons. She is house broken and does well outdoors for long periods of time as well. She does not chew up things and seldom barks. She is good on a leash when walking and is good at travelling in a vehicle. She loves to play and will retrieve balls and toys. She is really an all round good dog but she has one flaw--she kills chickens. She ignores all other little animals and goats but is obsessed with chickens. We have chickens and therefore can no longer keep her. Our family loves her and are sad to see her leave, but we need to keep the chickens so she has to find a good home.

Story
Hello! This is Momo, a 1 y/o black lab mix. Momo is about 45lbs and is one of the sweetest, smartest, and funniest dogs you will ever meet. I am looking for someone who can surround her with a lot of love and attention, because she absolutely LOVES it. Momo has a lot of energy so she will need plenty of walks/playtime. She has a tendency to bark at other dogs/is nervous around them at first, but once she gets comfortable she thrives with them. She is crate trained and potty trained to use the bathroom outside (she has been accident free for over a year), but her stomach can be sensitive so that is something to keep in mind. I am wanting to find her a good fit, not just a new home. If you think you’d be a good fit, please reach out with any questions! Thanks.
