Totally a coincidence but I am as fast as the cars at Bristol Motor Speedway. My favorite thing to do is play fetch and I will play for as long as you are able to throw the ball and ALWAYS bring the ball back to you. I was rescued by Critter Cavalry from an Arkansas shelter and so very thankful to be in Tennessee. I have the best foster home with two foster brothers who are twice my size and I love to wrestle with them. I have more confidence when I have other dogs to show me how to be a dog. I am a little slow to warm up to new people and do not need an extremely active home with a lot of different people coming and going. Once I get to know you after a few days I will never leave your side! I am very well behaved inside the house, I am crate trained, house-trained, quiet, and would make the perfect work from home buddy - I have been keeping my foster mom company by napping next to her desk all day. I would do great in a home with adults only or a family with older children. A canine companion would be great but I'm also willing to take all the attention for myself if I'm the only dog. BUT did I mention the ball. I do need someone that likes ball as much as I do and a fenced in yard is a MUST. I warm up to women first, but after a few days, men are ok too. I just did not have a very good beginning to my short life. If you are patient and looking for a great companion, then you have found her in me. I am spayed and current on all my shots. Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. Hi, my name is Moe! If you are looking for a special dog, you are barking up the right tree! What makes me special is that life started out a little shaky for me and has left me more nervous and scared than the average dog. With time, understanding, patience, and building trust I will open up and be the best companion you could want! As the saying goes, I stick to the 3’s. I need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks of a consistent routine and time to learn it & 3 months to start feeling at home. At first, I am more comfortable with other dogs and people really scare me, so I would do best with an outgoing friendly dog in the house to show me how to feel comfortable and confident. As time goes on, I get more used to humans but would do best in a single-person home or just a couple (too many people or a lot of children will be too much for me). I like my kennel and my safe dark space. I will come around and hang out more when I trust it is safe. I am kennel trained and working on being better with the leash. He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. Meet Rosie, a sweet pup looking for a loving home. Rosie is an absolute sweetheart who just loves to play! She's about 10 months old and already a solid 40 lbs of pure joy. She's happiest outside, running full speed around the yard, but she also has this amazing, almost zen-like way of just sitting still, closing her eyes, and soaking in her surroundings. It's one of the most special things about her. She's fantastic with kids (because, honestly, she's still a big puppy herself) and gets along great with other dogs. Unfortunately, we just don't have the space or time to give Rosie the life she truly deserves. We both work in the city, and our older dog is having trouble keeping up with her endless energy. We want to find her a home where she can enjoy the outdoors, go on nice walks, and get all the love and attention she deserves. This decision has been really tough, but we know it’s the right one for Rosie. If you think you could be the perfect home for her, please reach out.
