Little Bit is an endearing pup who thrives on human affection and companionship. He enjoys being the center of attention and prefers the company of people over other dogs. Little Bit's sweet nature and affectionate personality make him a loving and devoted companion for a family looking to shower him with love and attention. However, it's important to note that he has a knack for finding his way out of enclosures, so a secure environment would be essential to keep him safe. Story
In a shelter not so far, far away, there resides a dog whose destiny is as grand as the galaxy itself. Meet Anakin Pawalker, a canine force to be reckoned with (in a good way). With his striking caramel eyes and sporty energy, Anakin is a whirlwind of activity, always ready to embark on an adventure to a galaxy far, far away-or just around the block.Much like his namesake, Anakin is fueled by a passion that knows no bounds. But instead of the Force, it's food that ignites his spirit. Anakin is utterly obsessed with all things edible, his nose leading him on quests for treats and snacks throughout the shelter. Whether it's a tantalizing chew toy or a savory bone, Anakin's appetite is as insatiable as the Sarlacc pit.But don't let his penchant for snacks fool you-Anakin is more than just a hungry pup. He's also incredibly energetic and playful, always eager to engage in lightsaber duels (or perhaps a game of fetch) with his fellow canine companions. His enthusiasm is infectious, and his funny personality keeps the shelter abuzz with excitement.Anakin is a loyal and loving dog who would follow his human friends to the ends of the galaxy. He's a good-hearted boy who dreams of finding his forever family and living out his days in a galaxy filled with love and adventure. If you're ready to embark on an epic journey with a canine who's out of this world, look no further than Anakin Pawalker. May the treats be with you as you join forces with this lovable guy and discover the joys of life in a galaxy far, far away-or just in your own backyard. Story
Meet Bear! Bear was adopted back in August 2023. His adopter felt he needed another dog to play with in the home and a fence and we completely agree now that we have him here at the rescue and see his personality. Then, we thought we found the perfect home for him around May of 2024 with his BFF Raven, unfortunately the adopter is not able to keep either of them due to housing issues. This poor guy (and Raven) deserve a home that won’t let them go. They have had too much of the crappy and they need some happy already!! Bear is around 3 years old and weighs around at 90 pounds. He is great with just about anyone and anything! He is a very happy-go-lucky, fun boy and obviously LOVES food! He also loves to fetch and play with toys. If you like laying on a couch watching movies, playing tug, going for car rides, or even hiking, this may be the boy for you! He is house/crate trained, but as always expect a few accidents in the beginning. Bear is neutered, current on all shots (including a 3 year rabies shot), heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm prevention. He MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of his life! NO EXCEPTIONS! Bears adoption fee is $75 and if you adopt his friend Raven, she will not have any extra fees. All vet records and will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Story
Meet Raven! This pretty girl was surrendered to a shelter due to housing issues in 2023. The owners contacted the rescue they had adopted her from, but the “rescue” would not take her back. Then, back in May 2024 we thought we found her FURever home with her buddy Bear. Unfortunately they had housing issues and returned them both. They thought they were just coming for a visit, but unfortunately were being dumped again. Definitely no fault of their own, but I’m sure they can’t help but wonder what happened. Raven is around 2.5 years old and weighs 50-60 pounds. She has a very soft and shiny coat. Pictures just don’t do her justice at all, she is gorgeous! She is very friendly and thinks she’s a lap dog! She loves running, sniffing, and playing fetch in the backyard here, so a fence is required. Raven is good with other dogs and kids. She is good with cats too. However, If she sees a cat run, she will probably chase them. Raven is spayed, current on all shots (including a 3 year rabies shot), microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm prevention. She MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of her life. Ravens’ adoption fee is $75 and if you adopt her friend Bear, he will not have any extra fees. (Adopting both is not required, just would be nice) All vet records and will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Story
Here is a smart and beautiful 6 months old lab mix puppy looking for a new home. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. He's a really great, playful, and loving puppy. He has had two shots, is dewormed, loves being around his family and is very loyal. He has been great with cats kids (6 and up). He is fully crate trained and sleeps there at night while he enjoys being in and out during the day. One thing you should know is that he is aggressive towards chickens, so he needs to go to a home that does not have them. He does not whine when crated but will let you know if he needs to go potty. He doesn't bark unless a stanger approaches. A wonderful, dog just not for a farm.
