Story
Hinami is a Lab/Shepherd mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. This sweet girl’s affectionate personality is simply contagious—she’s the kind of dog who makes everyone around her feel special. A quick learner, Hinami already knows the "sit" command and is eager to please. While she could use some work on her leash skills, her enthusiasm and intelligence make her a joy to train. With her signature derpy smile and expressive face, Hinami is a natural in front of the camera. She knows how to strike a pose and effortlessly charms her way into the hearts of everyone who sees her photos. Her goofy grin and sparkling eyes perfectly reflect her playful and endearing personality. Hinami is searching for a home where she can share her boundless love and energy. Whether she’s out exploring, learning new tricks, or snuggling up after a fun day, she’ll bring joy and laughter to her family. If you’re ready for a loyal, sweet, and slightly silly companion, Hinami is ready to light up your life! Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.

Story
Ollie is an approximate 3 year old male lab mix. He was saved at the last minute from being euthanized. Ollie will weigh around 60 pounds full grown. Ollie does well with other dogs but sometimes can be annoying and in the face of others. Ollie does get a bit jealous of others if they are receiving attention and he is not and will try and push his way in, but he's learned that there is plenty of attention to go around and will wait for it. Ollie generally leaves the cat siblings alone, although he has chased them from time to time. Ollie loves people and is always happy to make new friends. Ollie is a young boy who has plenty of energy. He is not currently living with kids, but is friendly towards them albeit a bit clumsy at times. With continued training and rules, he would do well with kids. He loves to give kisses. Ollie needs to have daily exercise and structure. He's a medium energy boy who loves to go! He loves playtime in the yard but thrives with structured walks and training. Ollie is working hard on basic manners and obedience. Ollie would make a fantastic hiking partner! Ollie is vet checked, vaccinated, neutered, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. His adoption donation fee is $300.00

Claire is approximately 2-3 year old female mixed breed of best guess of lab/border collie/terrier? She's a quiet girl who loves to be near and please. She's food motivated and has a good grasp of basic commands and leash skills. She is kennel trained and not had any accidents. She's tolerant of other dogs, but doesn't want to play with them - she just wants to chill. She would do best with a calm companion. She seems indifferent of cats, but isn't currently around them regularly. She's a low energy gal and nice medium size.
